  Look no further—PGT is the tour operator to choose if you want to experience both the iconic landmarks and the hidden gems of Athens. Our guide, Vasiliys, was incredibly knowledgeable about Greek history and heritage, making every stop fascinating and memorable. He was also an excellent driver, and his van was spotless, comfortable, and spacious. As a family of five, we had plenty of room to relax throughout the day. Visiting the Acropolis and the Ancient Agora truly felt like stepping back in time. The rich history was brought to life through Vasiliys' insights, making the experience even more meaningful. He also recommended a fantastic local restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious lunch. Thank you to PGT for taking such great care of our family and giving us an unforgettable day in Athens.   The BEST excursion that we took during a 3 week trip to Europe. Cannot say enough nice things about the whole experience. Extremely professional guide and he even took great photos of us.   Mario took us to all the sights we wanted to see and he had a few surprises for us. He was on time, nice modern van so we can get good view during driving. He was very knowledgeable and interesting. Found us a nice place for lunch. Highly recommend this full day tour.

  We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful guide. George picked us (a group of 9) up at the port and drove us around Athens and showed us the sites. He is a wonderful story teller and full of interesting facts. For lunch he took us to a little neighborhood where we had the most fabulous lunch. Nikos and his team were great to work with prior to booking the tour and were very responsive with all of my questions. I highly recommend this company.

  We had a fantastic day with Domenic as our guide who was incredibly knowledgeable and super funny. We did all the main sights and he also suggested the fabulous Arcadia restaurant for our lunch. He picked us up from our cruise and dropped us at the airport for our flights out of Athens and it was all very easy and efficient. We were with friends and it made for a very fun day out. We would all highly recommend using this company for a wonderful day of sightseeing in Athens.

  We had an amazing private tour in Greece with Yannis as our driver and guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about Athens, and made the entire experience unforgettable. Even though we ran out of time, he remained patient and continued sharing fascinating history lessons throughout the tour. I especially loved learning about the Acropolis, the Greek gods, and even the history behind the soldiers’ uniforms — including the huge amount of fabric used to make their skirts! We also witnessed the changing of the guard at Syntagma Square, which was such a memorable experience. The comfortable Mercedes bus with excellent air conditioning was also a huge plus, especially on such a very hot day on April 26th. Yannis truly brought the history of Athens to life, and his enthusiasm made the tour even more special. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Greece!

  Nikos, Anna-Marina and the team of guides and drivers including Mario, Tannos and private guide Anastasia were top notch from beginning to end from the time of scheduling and arranging all logistics. Private Greece Tours made our visit to Greece very memorable and enjoyable. My family and I highly recommend hiring their services if you are interested in an Athens and surrounding area experience.   Nikos from the beginning was extremely responsive in answering questions and making the whole booking process easy and seamless. The morning of Dominik was waiting at the front door of our hotel right on time and picked us up. He took us to some of the most amazing places and was very knowledgeable about every one of them. Very personable and by the end of the tour he was very flexible with the entire schedule and dropped us off at a nice little dinner place recommended by him. I would not only recommend PGT but Nikos and Dominik also! Great experience we loved it!
