  The experience with Chris was exceptional. Chris was well versed on where to find the animals that we wanted to see. And the camera instruction was well done — very well suited to the wide range of skills in our family. I would definitely take another photo tour with Chris. Chris also taught us a lot about animal behavior which helped us find animals on subsequent days.

  I highly recommend doing a tour with Chris for any photography enthusiasts or anyone passionate about nature. I originally booked the tour through Viator, and Chris was incredibly responsive right away to any questions I had about what camera gear to bring and what areas I wanted to focus on (such as wildlife). He arrived right on time so we could start the day early in Yellowstone. Throughout the day, we saw an incredible amount of wildlife, including coyotes, bald eagles, bison, golden eagles, bighorn sheep, and many more. I’m a beginner photographer with a passion for animals, and I had recently switched from a DSLR setup to a mirrorless system (Nikon). Chris helped me better understand my camera’s capabilities and the pros and cons of my current setup. He was very patient with all my questions and helped me update my camera settings, set up my monopod, and make sure I was maximizing every opportunity to get the best shot possible. His passion for wildlife and photography was truly evident. He also spent time explaining wildlife behaviors, which gave me an even greater appreciation for photographing animals in their natural habitat.   Had an awesome experience with Christopher! Pick-up was on time, and Christopher checked-in on what I've already seen, captured, and experienced to avoid repetition and to make sure the tour would add to the overall Yellowstone photography experience. As a hobbyist photographer, I have little technical experience and knowledge but he was able to give on-spot photo recommendations (shutter speed, aperture, framing, and so on), landscape photography tips for my next destination, and even long term ideas on sustaining the practice, including storage and editing -- so much insights based on technical knowledge and experience. For the tour itself, Christopher definitely knows where to go for the best chance to encounter the wildlife. Two definite stand outs were the very close encounter with a bison on the road, and following a cayote (who we think was Limpy) for a good distance Overall, I had a fantastic time!

  I joined one of Chris' photography tours in Yellowstone in Sept 2023 as a complete amateur. Chris is an outstanding teacher and incredibly patient so no question is ever too basic. He's also very good fun and has a great respect for wildlife. He's extremely knowledgeable about all things photography but also has a great understanding of weather and the night sky - plus great local knowledge of Yellowstone including likely locations of animals and general epic landscapes (plus where to get the best cinnamon buns). He'll keep you safe, make you laugh and teach you everything you need to know about photography - I'd highly recommend any of his tours. LD

• Excellent Private Workshop!

  My Mom and I traveled to Yellowstone in February 2024 to do a private workshop with Chris. It was excellent! Chris was knowledgable of the area, wildlife that we might see, and camera and photography related questions. We made daily itineraries, but had the flexibility to adjust based on how the day was going, or if any wildlife had been spotted that we might want to adjust too. I could also not think of a better person to spend 12 hours with. We loved it so much we booked another private workshop in September 2024! Looking for forward to seeing another season of Yellowstone with one of the best photographers out there!

  This was in incredible experience THANKS to Chris Georgia! Chris knows the area thru and thru. ( where to get coffee and food too :-) ) We saw wildlife every day. But it wasn't JUST about the wildlife. Chris is an awesome guide and expert photographer/videographer. He has a great personality and extreme knowledge of nature. There is no guarantee you will see animals, but when we did, Chris was there helping us get our gear out of the car, position us in a safe spot and could answer ANY questions we had!. He has an amazing respect for the environment, the park rules, our safety as well as the animals.. We are already booked to go back in the Fall. I give this a 10 rating!!!
