桜島は、鹿児島市の中心部から海を隔てて約10キロのところにあり、今も噴煙を上げている活火山です。桜島はもともと島でしたが、約110年前の噴火をきっかけに九州本土と陸続きになりました。ここでシーカヤックの冒険で地球の鼓動を体験してみませんか？
海面から広大な溶岩原を横切る壮大な旅に出発し、雄大な桜島を見上げましょう。桜島を水面から眺めると、桜島の雄大な姿や広大な溶岩地形が今までに見たことのない迫力あるユニークな視点で見ることができます。
海の中を覗いてみると、海に到達した溶岩流、火山と共生するサンゴ、さらには海底から湧き出る温泉など、水中に広がる火山の驚異を目にすることができます。それぞれの要素が独特な水中火山の景観に貢献しています。

Truly unique experience in Kagoshima

5.00If you are looking for an out of the ordinary way to experience Kagoshima and its nearby volcano Sakurajima, this is it! You are able to enjoy the ferry ride and get a real authentic taste of the area. The guide we had, Ura, was fantastic, and we were so lucky with a beautiful warm, sunny day to enjoy this adventure. The guide conveniently reached out via email to share the meeting time and place, which was easy to reach by foot from the ferry terminal. We were able to rent water shoes and really didn't get too wet, although we brought extra clothes and could change before returning in the ferry. The guide had a dry bag for valuables, and also provided waterproof cases.for those who wanted to bring phones for photo taking. Our guide also took photos from his camera and shared them after the excursion. Note: We, the participants, did have to carry the kayaks from the trailer down (and then back up) to the water. One in our group was not sure-footed to handle this, but Ura and the others did.
