  Walter was simply outstanding. He started out the tour with a warm greeting and finding out first what interests us and what aspects of Vienna did we want to learn about. His vast knowledge of Austrian history, from so many perspectives gave us a much better insight into Vienna. He took us to out of the way places like hidden plazas, colleges, universities and churches that we would have never found on our own. We highly recommend Walter and would tour again with him anytime!

  Walter is a fantastic, knowledgeable guide. I’ve been coming to Vienna for 15 years but have not, until now, taken a tour. There is so much in this city that is hidden in plain sight. This tour helped me better understand a city that I thought I knew!

  Our private walking tour with David was Outstanding!!! So much information and given with such enthusiasm! We walked for several hours in a constant drizzle and never thought about stopping because we were so interested in the history! David also gave us many insights to modern day Vienna with tips and advice for other sites to see and explore. He was a pleasure to spend time with! Take this highly personal tour.

  I did the tour as a solo traveler and was totally surprised what Vienna has to offer. The history and information about the various personalities who lived here were fascinating. David made me feel like exploring the city with a friend, which I especially liked! Highly recommended!
