Tokonyan
立ち寄るのは、町を訪れる人たちを出迎える巨大な招き猫「とこにゃん 」 。 常滑は数千匹の招き猫を生み出すことで有名で、街を歩くと、遊び心と表情豊かな無数の像に出会える。 写真映えするスポットで、常滑の人柄を楽しく紹介してくれます。

A Relaxing Tour in Tokoname

5.00I had such a fun time on this Tokoname tour! The guide was super friendly and shared lots of interesting stories about the town and its pottery. It was my first time there, and just walking around the town was so relaxing. The scenery was beautiful and it felt really calm and uncrowded. I loved seeing all the lucky cats and cat-themed pottery all around the town, and there were so many cute handmade pieces to check out. I also tried the lucky cat painting experience, which was a lot of fun. It’s not included in the tour package but highly recommended if you’d like to design your own lucky cat. Overall, it was an amazing trip for me, and I’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone who loves cats, pottery, or exploring local towns in Japan.
