  I took part in a six-day tour organized by Bamboo Ecotours. It was simply fantastic. Even before the trip, I felt that I would be safe because Edison organized everything precisely, explained everything to me and answered all my questions immediately. The program was excellently organized, the accommodations were really nice and clean, the food was delicious and plentiful, and what we saw and experienced will remain unforgettable. Herbert, who was with us the whole time, even made sure that we could taste different types of bananas from Rwanda and Uganda. I sincerely recommend Bamboo Ecotours for everyone. I hope I will have the opportunity to go back.

  As a seasoned traveller to Africa for over 60 years, Bamboo Ecotours has proven to be the best travel company I have ever used. Edison was very efficient and responsive and the plan we developed together unfolded smoothly, on-time and as expected. Jackson, our driver and guide, was professional, polite, trustworthy, careful and shared his passion for the land and and the wildlife. Over six days, my famly of three saw the beauty of Akagera National Park in eastern Rwanda and then made our way to Uganda for separate day treks for chimps, gorillas and golden monkeys in and around Bwindi National Park. We would definitely use Bamboo Eotours again and we give them the highest recommendation.

  I was planning to go to Uganda for a while... and finally made it! I booked a 6-day Rwanda-Uganda option that eventually extended by 2 days to include Murchison Falls NP (totally worth it, don't skip it if you can, it was a cherry on the top to finish the tour). I was a bit concerned about the timing (end of November, still short rainy season), but we had amazing weather, just two short afternoon rains twice. With fewer tourists, and everything still beautifully green: different National Parks, a variety of animals, and lots of beautiful landscapes. This is the tour for those who want to enjoy nature! Starting this tour in Rwanda allowed me to get a glimpse of that country, and reduced time on the road in Uganda. Bamboo Ecotours was very helpful and responsive in slightly modifying the original itinerary to adapt to my needs. Very happy with the accommodations selection (especially Bweza near Bwindi NP & Bamboo near Murchison Falls NP), service, and food options, with all admission fees included in the price. Everything went very smoothly, and it's not always like that (been to multiple budget safaris in Africa). Special thanks to Herbert, my driver & guide, for making this experience great! Hope to make it one day back to both Uganda and Rwanda!

  We had the best time during this tour! All the organization part was done with Edison via email, who was always very responsive. Arriving in Rwanda, we were picked up by our guide/drive Jackson, who did a tremendous job driving us around, telling us about both countries and making sure our dietary restrictions were being considered. The itinerary was perfect! We felt we did a lot without feeling tired. We cannot recommend this tour and agency enough! Definitely a vacation to remember forever.

  Loved every second of it. And from the beginning they were amazing, explaining everything to me without being pushy. Edison is a very patient professional gentleman to arrange this with- who I believe is the Boss - and my lovely driver (now friend) John, amazing guy, amazing guide and the effort he put into showing me everything was fantastic. He is an amazing driver and smileyst tour guide Uganda and Rwanda is in now top of my favourite places in the world ..amazing landscapes, birds gorillas, chimps , lions and many more unique creatures..People are lovely, generous and friendly and man the food was to die for...fresh and delish Highly recommend

  Beautiful trip, an Extra Rosnnie Guide, who knows his country, his culture, local dishes to test, plantations and animals of course. The comfortable lodges very beautiful in respect with the sumptuous nature. Bwindi, queen victoria park, Kazinga Canal safari, Kibale forest.   Edison was absoluely amazing in organizing the perfect 10+ experience from Rwanda to Uganda tour for 6 of us. Logistics and itinerary of this trip was efficient and so perfect that we also rate it 5 star+ Our guide Freddy is best in class, knowledgeable, caring and safe. He picked us up in the 1-year new Safari truck at the Kigali Fourpoint Sheraton--which is also a great pick-up point and hotel. All the food and accommodations exceeded our expectations, clean, comfortable and delicious. We had absolutely the most amazing time and thought a need to post great reviews for so other travelers may benefit from visiting Rwanda and Uganda with the best travel company possible so they can enjoy the best possible experience. It was truly the treat of a lifetime to visit the Rwanda and Uganda. Bamboo Ecotour is very good and they deserve 6-star or 7-star. All the Gold Monkey, Gorilla, Chimpanzee and cultural experience are must-see. We can not thank enough or say enough good things about Edison and Freddy and this tour.   I am so glad that we chose Bamboo Ecotours for our 6-day family trip through Rwanda and Uganda. Every detail of our trip was very well organized and orchestrated perfectly. Edison was very responsive answering all of my questions and helping us to come prepared for all of our activities and trekking excursions. We chose the Budget option and were impressed with the comfortable and clean accommodations for each of the stops during our trip. I cannot thank our guide John enough! He was absolutely terrific. John ensured that we were safe, comfortable and informed through the entire trip. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. John had all documentation ready and organized which made border crossing and checking in to our accommodations and activities fast and easy. We are so grateful to have visited such beautiful countries. Of course, our gorilla trek and visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park were amazing. We really enjoyed cultural experiences like visiting a Batwa community and a local coffee farm. This was an experience of a lifetime.

  Spending time with the gorillas is something I will never forget. Together with trekking to the chimps and golden monkeys, other wildlife encounters, and enjoying the sheer beauty of these 2 countries, made this the most special experience. I highly recommend using Bamboo Ecotours. Edison responded to all emails within a day, and Herbert was a wonderful guide/driver.

  I had an amazing time on my solo trip to Uganda with Bamboo Ecotours. Edison was very quick to respond, and I appreciated the very thorough itinerary details. I went with the 6 day tour and could not have planned it better myself. Amanya was my driver/guide and went above and beyond to make sure I had an unforgettable trip.
