  This was absolutely amazing! Me and my 2 girlscouts had the best time! Carmen was genuine, helpful, knowledgeable and fun. The food was delicious! Also bought all of her different juices and brought them home. 10 out of 10 stars and would do again. Highly recommend. Thank you so much!!

  We had an incredible time at this cooking class! The experience started with picking our own crabs, which made the process feel so hands-on and authentic. We then learned how to clean and season them under the guidance of our amazing hosts, who were not only incredibly knowledgeable but also warm and welcoming. The setting was beautiful—the home was lovely, and everything was kept exceptionally clean and sanitary. The cooking process was well-organized, and the final dish was absolutely delicious! If you’re looking for a unique and immersive culinary experience, this class is a must. Highly recommend!

  I had the BEST!!!!! time at Crabs with Carmen in St. Croix! Carmen was an amazing host — so friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. We started by learning about crabs and how they rear them then we were able to catch our own crabs, which was such a cool, hands-on part of the experience. Carmen taught us how to prepare and cook the crabs, and the food was absolutely incredible, fresh, flavourful, and something I can’t wait to try at home! The scenery was beautiful, and the whole day felt like a perfect blend of learning, laughter, and great food. Carmen’s passion for the island and its food made the experience even more special. I highly recommend this class to anyone visiting St. Croix, it’s educational, fun, and an unforgettable way to experience the island’s culture.   Wonderful experience! Ms Carmen was super nice! A great host! She and her staff were all very welcoming. I was surprised we were actually picking the crab (while alive) and doing the process from start to finish! Great experience and I would absolutely recommend!

  We had a great time with Carmen and her family. Learning about catching crabs, catching one in the cage. We cleaned and seasoned them and learned more about how to make them at home. While the crabs were cooking we had an appetizer and a cocktail. After the crabs we had a dessert and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience with locals. I would highly recommend as an activity on the island.

  Carmen was very hospitable. Carmen shared the culture of the island & her family with us. I couldn’t believe we were actually able to choose our own crab with the tongs. The food was delicious. Carmen took great care of us.

  Carmen was extremely hospitable, kind, informative and helpful. Not only did she welcome us to her home for a one if a kind experience but she threw in a tour of the island, contacts and great recommendations for the rest of our trip.
