5.00In my view, a private tour is the best way to understand the complexity of this site between the changing religious and secular owners! Understanding the entire site is never possible with an audio guide! We greatly enjoyed the three-hour tour with Manuel Alcalde (our guide) - he conducted it with great empathy and expertise. Excellent!

5.00Sabina was our guide. She took us along for this unique experience, the Alhambra palaces complex. We visited exquisite areas where history and craftsmanship speak in one voice. Everything was impressive, some features very beautiful. Sabina led us through the palaces and gardens and told us in detail the history of the place. We loved this tour. Sabina was an excellent guide. It was a great choice to book a private guide.

5.00Maria was simply wonderful. She was exceptionally knowledgeable about the Alhambra, Granada, Spain and their history. She was very friendly. Her English was impeccable. She catered brilliantly to our group of six which ranged from age 12 to 76. The pace of the tour was just right - not too fast nor too slow. Cannot recommend this tour more highly.

5.00The visit was on a splendid day so that the gardens and palaces looked magnificent. The guide attended and guided us in an entertaining manner, giving the relevant explanations. Moreover the visit was not exhausting and yet we saw everything important with tranquility. All right.

5.00The Private tour was at our pace, stopped at an amazing inlay woodwork shop near the Alhambra, learned about the history and details you can’t learn on a big tour. Sabina was a wonderful guide, sharing her near decade of experience guiding guests. When we were curious about something, she had more details and depth about that part of the tour. Unforgettable!

5.00This was a fantastic private tour with Maria, who was warm and knowledgeable and incredibly informative about every aspect of the Alhambra and Generalife. She explained the history, architecture and the landscaping and its implication to the Muslims and Christians of the various historical periods. We couldn’t have been happier with Maria and this tour.

5.00We had a great tour with Alberto! Everything was well organised, we were informed the day before of our tickets and meeting place, Alberto arrived early and the tour was excellently planned. No queues, no waiting time and easy access everywhere. Alberto was knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting facts with us. We greatly enjoyed it and would strongly recommend Viator.
