  This is an exceptionally good tour. Ivanna’s enthusiasm and encyclopaedic knowledge shine as brightly as the Provence sun. Ivanna is not following a script, she is following the history, artists, and stories of Aix and able to answer any question with a thoughtful and interesting answer. Her English is impeccable meaning for English speakers she can communicate nuanced meaning and understand any question. We did Ivanna’s tour in the morning orientating us for the afternoon. It’s the best tour we have ever experienced.

  My husband and I loved this walking tour. Ivanna gave us an incredible overview of the city. Her historical perspective on the various areas of the center city made us look at this beautiful city in a different light. We can see her passion about the history of Aix. Ivanna’s stories about key people and places also made the history come to life. This tour at the beginning of our trip allowed us to get so much more out of our visit! I highly recommend!

  Our guide Ben was super nice and friendly. He sent a group text before meeting to make sure everyone was running on time. He gave us a great overview of the city and mixed in a lot of history, fun facts and personal stories This was by far one of the best tours I’ve ever had!!

  One of the best tours I’ve ever experienced. Benjamin guided us on a personal and deeply moving tour of this beautiful city, where generations of his family have lived, worked, suffered, and celebrated through the years. He narrated an amazing story of the history, culture, cuisine, and character of the region, making me determined to return some day to learn even more! I highly recommend you take this tour!

  I hit the jackpot! I enjoyed a more-than-generous private guided tour with Ivanna, and it was the perfect introduction to my second day in Aix.   We met our guide, Benjamin, at an easy central location. The tour was nicely paced, stopping at historical sites and places of interest. There were plenty of photo opportunities and a few places to rest in the shade. He gave us great overview of the city and some recommendations for the rest of our stay. Highly recommended.

  Outstanding and entertaining introduction to Aix-en-Provence. The tour exposes the layers of history that are found in this beautiful city, but that one can only discover with an expert guide. Try to book this trip at the beginning of a visit to Aix-en-Provence to take advantage of the excellent restaurant and site seeing recommendations.
