  Visiting the Château de Cognac allows you to discover Baron Otard’s cellars and better understand the ageing of cognac. It also explores vestiges of the former places of life of Francis I, including the remarkable asymmetrical vaults.   Beautiful château, informative tour, and excellent tasting of D’USSÉ and Baron Otard cognacs. Staff were friendly and professional. Only downside, the tour felt a bit rushed at the end. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth visiting.

  Disappointment by a guide not up to the visit, looking for his words and having little information to discover the cognac. Tasting with almost non-existent comments and cocktail whose recipe you will never make again because we do not give you the possibility to leave with malgres that we can sell you everything to make it again!

  English-language Guided Tour started fifteen minutes later than planned because the guide did not show up. Lady from the gift shop would jump in. Unfortunately, despite her best efforts, her English was often not comprehensible. And tickets for two cost more than €40 anyway
