Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park

The Best Tour Guide - Tatem's of St Kitts

5.00Our tour planner in the group found Tatem's Taxi AND Tours for our exploration of St. Kitts while on our cruise in the Caribbean. Mr. Toussaint Tatem met us where the cruise ship docks and escorted us to his vehicle. We expected a car that would be cramped for the four of us (and driver) and were delightfully surprised to have "Tatem" show us to his brand new Toyota minivan! We had room for all with plenty to spare! Tatem is a lifelong resident of St Kitts and brought us all over the island to see his beautiful country. His knowledge of the island and his pride in his country were evident by how exuberant he was when describing each area along the trip. We spent the day with him (not just the 4 hours booked) and made us feel like we were locals. We went to a Rum Distillery that had structures still standing since they were built hundreds of years ago. He brought us to the Fort on the Island and showed us where to explore. Amazing day! Even more Amazing tour guide!

5.00Tatem was the best tour guide we had during our entire Eastern Caribbean cruise, and specifically at St. Kitts on January 8, 2026. Being born and raised on the island, he's incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of St. Kitts. He easily answered all of our questions, informing us of so many things we knew nothing about. He had valuable and fun information to share about everything we passed by. Tatem was very welcoming and friendly, drove very professionally and safely, and spoke very clearly, and was easy to understand. He is very proud of his home country, and it shines through in his enthusiasm of his tour. Tatem's tour of St. Kitts/Nevis was truly one of the highlights of our cruise, and is an EXCELLENT 5 stars/5 stars experience (no exaggeration!). Choose Tatem for your tour of St.Kitts and Nevis. You will not be disappointed!
