  Very informative on the Muscat process and plenty of Muscat to consume. It was a 44 degree day and the tour has no aircon but still a comfortable journey through the winery

  Our group had a fabulous experience together - Daniel was the highlight showing us around the property including the vineyard and gorgeous tasting spaces. Our muscat blending was so fun and we all came with our own special blends. Everyone associated with the winery and out experience was great - Thanks to all xx

  What a great experience the Muscat's we tasted were great. Walking through the old wine barrels and then into the new area, seeing the difference of how things are done tasting different Muscat's as we went. Some beautiful hidden gems behind closed doors make this a mystery tour. We then get the chance to blend and bottle our own Muscat using three different Muscat's ranging from 2022 to 8 year old Muscat. You sample the blends and mix them until you find a combination that you like the best this is the one you will bottle.

  This whole experience could be classed as the icing on the cake to our holiday. Very much enjoyed the attention to detail of our host Zalan, the friendliness of all, even the doggy and how one left the experience gaining a very small insight into wine making.   Originally I booked a blend your own Muscat via a booking site. I was able to edit my booking directly through Zalan who is the cellar door supervisor. He was very easy to communicate with and accommodating to my plan of proposing at the end of the tour to my partner. It actually couldn’t have gone any better with the environment and visual aspects of the winery an intimate experience for us both (luckily we were the only 2 on the tour). The tour and blend it self was a unique and fun experience, blending your own bottle of muscat. I didn’t know much about muscat or was a huge fan before the tour, but by the end my appreciation and taste for it had changed. Not only was Zalan fantastic, but all the staff were very friendly and seemed to be chuffed that we chose Stanton & Killeen setting for a day to remember. Note: this was be awesome to do with other couples or friends, for something a little different. Also my pictures don’t do it justice…

  We had a great experience blending our own Muscat. A very friendly greeting upon arrival and the entire agenda was explained before starting the winery tour. It was great to see the history and age of the winery and look at all of the vintage barrels. The blending was very well done, clearly explained and we were left to do our experiments. My advice is to take your time and experiment with all of the different flavours. The final Muscat is delicious!!

  This was an unique experience.. We got to play chemist with our test tubes and funnels -Fun!! Arranging some form of transport to take you home would add to the experience. Spoke to the winemaker and manager. They were able to answer all of our questions. Fascinating to learn how Muscat is aged and categorized. How and where the grapes grow changed the taste even on such a small block.

  What an amazing experience. My partner gifted me this as a birthday present and we did the experience together. We were the only 2 doing the experience and it was great. Jess took us for the tour and the blending and she was knowledgeable and personable. We felt like we were just spending the day with friends as there was no rush and nothiong seemed stilted; everything was done with warmth and charm. The actual area where we did the blending was amongst the barrels, quiet and warmly lit with rustic lighting. I would recommend this to anyone as the experience was better than either of us would have thought

  Thank you for a wonderful Muscat blending experience. It was so interesting to hear about the long history of the winery and how your family have operated it over the years. Our experience included a tour which was historic and beautiful, and scattered with tastings of fortified wines typical of the region. We then moved on to blend our own muscat through a guided activity teaching us more about the flavours, aromas and texture of muscat. This experience surprised and delighted us and was a highlight of our trip to Rutherglen (hard to do because the whole region is stunning). Thank you to the thoughtful, kind and knowledgeable the team at Stanton & Killeen (Wendy, Tash and Jess!)

  We had such a great time here, we started with a tour of the winery and it’s history. Then taken through where the muscat barrels are kept and our hosts talked about the history of the barrels and contents and sampled some. We then were shown to a table all,set up for our muscat blending using three different muscats, once we had chosen our own blend it was bottled and given to us. It was so much fun.
