What To Expect
German Fountain
ドイツ語の泉（トルコ語：Alman Çeşmesi；ドイツ語：Deutscher Brunnen）は、イスタンブールのコンスタンティノープル旧ヒッポドローム（スルタン・アフメト広場）の北端、スルタン・アフメト1世霊廟の向かいにある見晴台式の泉である。 1898年のドイツ語皇帝ヴィルヘルム2世のイスタンブール訪問2周年を記念して建設された。 ドイツで建造され、1900年に1個ずつ輸送され、現在の場所に組み立てられた。 ネオ・ビザンティン様式の噴水の八角形のドームには8本の大理石の柱があり、ドームの内部は黄金色のモザイクで覆われている。
Hippodrome
通常、ヒッポドロームは帝都コンスタンティノープルの栄光の日々を連想させるが、実際にはその時代よりも前のことである。 最初のヒッポドロームはビザンティウムと呼ばれていた時代に建設され、そこそこ重要な地方都市であった。 西暦203年、セプティミウス・セウェルス帝は都市を再建し、城壁を拡張し、戦車競走やその他の娯楽のための闘技場であるヒッポドロームを擁した。

5.00Both the tour and the guide are amazing. In the morning the guide arrived about 15 minutes earlier and the company messaged me via WhatsApp about the arrival of the guide. The guide’s name is CAN. He is a very friendly, professional guide. After our tour ended he has spent a few more minutes walking me to the entrance of my the next place I planned to visit and then said goodbye to me.

5.00Great experience. The tour guide was knowledgeable. There was a long line to get into Basilica Cistern but with a tour guide we were able to go right in through a separate line. Went at 13:30.
