植物園は、面積19エーカーの色と自然がいっぱいの世界です。その名は、植物探検の注目すべきディレクターであるホセセレスティノムティスセージの記憶を称えるものです。この公園は、特にボゴタのサバンナで、コロンビアの植物群の多様性に関する保全活動、環境教育、研究を促進し、実施しています。この公園は、1955年にコロンビアの科学者、エンリケ・ペレス・アルベラエスによって設立されました。コレクション内には、アンデスの森林、オークフォレスト、ミスティグローブ、針葉樹、クリプトガミウム（花がない植物）、ハーブ（薬草）、薔薇の庭と温暖な乾燥した天候と雨からの植物の温室他の品種。

Our guide was very knowledgable about Colombian geography and natural history. She pointed out many plants that are significant to indigenous our people, for medicinal uses, of economic importance, and which tie into conflicts over land use. She was also very flexible and catered to our particular interests. The botanic garden is enormous. It helps to have someone who knows it well to take you to the exhibits you will find most interesting.

An incredible experience! A few friends and I went to visit the botanical garden of the city. We didn’t want the conventional plan of visiting the historical area because we had already been there, so we decided to try something different. Everything was wonderful, the botanical garden was very close to our hotel, and the arrival was very quick. The driver and guide were very professional, and we learned so much about the biodiversity in Colombia and how rich its lands are. Visiting each of the ecosystems in the botanical garden is like a quick trip through the whole country. I would definitely repeat this visit!

Jorge and Louis are two of the best guides in the city. The knowledge Jorge had of the botanical garden made the trip so much better. Highly recommend.
