Nice weather all week and good sun beds where you could pick up thick nice cushions to lay on, lawn.

4.00We tried a new hotel for us this year. Hotel Pernera in Protaras. We chose a late flight in the afternoon there and night flight home. We had chosen to book aisle time and it was very good seats when there are planes with only one aisle. As a diabetic, I got good food. We had booked a bus transfer which I think is like that, prefer our own transfer. Arrived at the hotel after midnight and we had a nice reception and we had booked a room with sea view which was very nice. Good beds and a nice bath and toilet with separate shower. Good food and drinks all week, although I think the al la cart restaurants were a bit simple. Everything worked fine all week, we had wanted to keep the room because we traveled back late at night and checked in late / early I think it would be the rule to keep the room until em for shower. The shower in the basement was fine but way too hot and it was not possible to get on the air conditioning there. Lunch and dinner restaurant good food but high noise level. The beach is a bay with a sandy beach but also an old boat ramp to walk in and swim from which was very nice and quiet. Happy with the hotel overall. Britt Carlquist
