  My family and I had the BEST experience with Tom as our guide! He was very informative, entertaining, delightful and on top of everything he took great photos of us at every stop. He also recommended a place for lunch that was INCREDIBLE. The Netherlands is a favorite stop for me and he is a big reason for that. If we ever come back here and need a tour guide, Tom is our guy!

  Tom was AMAZING! He was so accommodating to what we wanted to do and see. He was funny, knowledgable, fed us and wasn’t boring… we had a blast all day! The bonus was he took professional pictures of our family during all of our activities! If you want a wonderful experience BOOK TOM!

• Great two days of tours to Keukenhof and The Hague

  We took 2 tours with Toms Travel Tours. The first tour was with Joyce to Keukenhof, an organic tulip farm and tulip fields. Joyce knew her way around Keukenhof so we just followed along so we could just enjoy our time there. We really liked the tour of the organic tulip farm. The young farmer was so enthusiastic . Joyce tried to find out our interests and could share all kinds of information along the way. We would definitely recommend Joyce. The next tour we took was of The Hague with Fred. He was also excellent and tried to tailor the tour to our interests. We visited the ICC, the Delft factory, the Mauritshuis, and an organic cheese farm. We enjoyed the farm the most as we love cheese and the young farmer was so passionate about his farm. Along the way, we stopped as a fish market for some lunch to go so we could keep moving to see as much as possible. Fred was great and we would definitely recommend him. Tom was really helpful on the tours and I had a problem with the Anne Frank website crashing when I tried to book at 4 am US time and Tom was able to help me out which was greatly appreciated, Rest assured, if you book with Toms, you will be well taken care of so you can just enjoy your time in The Netherlands.

  We had a wonderful tour of the region outside the city of Amsterdam by Fred Leeuwis. He was terrific with a wealth of information and made our experience outstanding! We really appreciated the effort he displayed to ensure we had a memorable day!!

  I have done six tours over the past eight years with Toms Travel Tours: three 3-hours’ walking tours and three full-day country tours. They were always excellent (that is why I keep returning). Albeit somewhat on the expensive side (but, for private tours acceptable prices) they provide top-notch service. the guides are obviously hand-picked. All the six whose tours I had the pleasure to do were high-level professionals with excellent English, polite, flexible, ever so helpful. This time we did the 3-hours’walking tour (canal district and Jordan) with Marjorie and the country tour (Marken, Edam, the Beemster polder and the Schermerhorn windmill) with Jeroen; both tours up to my very high expectations. Thank Tom for contributing to a great holiday!

  A big thanks to Tom who gave us a wonderful day in the Netherland countryside, customized a 9 hour tour for two couples that included Haarlem, Zaanse Schans, Edam and Marken. Was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Also a shout out to Ron, the guide Tom hired for our visit to Haarlem, who's knowledge of the city and the alms gave us a look of the city I don't believe all guides could offer. Also was helpful in find us a canal ride that fit our expectations to finish a memorable day. Thank you Tom. Darrell

  My third time in Holland and can’t get enough of it! I did use Toms Travel Tours in the past and decided to hire them again. This time we went further than the obvious locations in Amsterdam and it was glorious! We went for the first day to Haarlem, which was, as they post it, a complete delight! What a cute interesting city! On this one day my mum joined us and Joyce took some much care that she was having a good time as much as she did. But this was only the start! We went on a second tour to the countryside, which was so pristine and we learned a lot about the Dutch water management. Our guide, Chris, was a fountain of knowledge in this respect! On another day we went to the Rijksmuseum with Ingrid. Two hours passed watching and learning about art without even noticing, she made the visit so interesting and dynamic. After this, Tom organized a private canal cruise for us that was the absolute top of all our trip. What a treat! Big big thanks to Tom, Ana and team for this wonderful experience!
