What To Expect
Al Khor
Al Khawr とも綴られ、アラビア語で「三方の海」を意味します。ドーハよりも古いですが、規模ははるかに小さいです。アル ホールはドーハからわずか 50 キロ北に位置しています。かつてはカタールの真珠産業の中心地でしたが、養殖真珠の導入後はその重要性を失いました。現在では、伝統的な漁船ダウが停泊する風光明媚な港、マングローブの群生地につながるコーニッシュ、漁業、真珠採り、ダウ船建造産業を紹介する博物館が併設されています。
Purple Island - Al Khor Island
アル ホールの向こうにある自然の中にある静かな島が、マングローブと緑豊かなパープル アイランドです。この島は、都会の喧騒から離れて自然と再びつながる機会をもたらします。長い散歩や家族でのピクニックからカヤックのオプションまで、パープル アイランドには家族全員が楽しめるものが揃っています。

5.00The guide who was originally assigned did not turn up. I called the company and Rehan, the replacement guide, turned up at a short notice. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the history and pointed out all the sights along the way. It was a bad start but Rehan saved the day.
