  We got here every year! My son is ten and loves it! It's super fun for a family. They even take the time to describe and identify any gemstones! They can even make custom jewelry! I found beautiful rubies & citrine stones! They have a great shop with lots of pretty stuff, too!

  I did the 100 dollar fossil bucket with some friends and we had an absolute blast. We found so many gems and fossils!!! I 1000% recommend to anyone in the area!!

  Amazing! I have been collecting gems for over fours years and was able to find a couple I did not own. I work with Cory to identify my gems and also buy a necklace. She was amazing not at all pushy was happy to explain the difference between the colors ( from cloudy, light and so on) I would definitely recommend her as your person to identify and also would overall recommend this place!

  In 2015 this was the first place we happened into, in 2026, first time for my son, it was also our first stop. He loved it and nearly 8 years old, he was very into it. Worth the $35 for a bucket of sand, and that was enough for him to experience it, but not feel like we had to stand there all day. You very well might get wet, splashing if they aren't careful. You'll leave with a bag of some awesome looking rocks, we got an arrowhead and a coin in our bucket as well.

  Mining was so much fun! We found so many amazing rocks. We sat down Cory she identified our crystals and fossils and helped us create a ring out of our stones that will be shipped to us! Cory was super nice and personable! Would 100% recommend!

  This was great a time. We bought a bucket and found several precious stones Citrone, ruby, emerald….and many more. Cory was great walking us though and identifying everything, we actually had one of the Amethyst cut into a pendant there.

  Seriously it was one of the best experience at Gem Mining Bucket. I was there with my girl. she really enjoy the activity It was all fun and the staff there was also good. If you are visitng pigeon forge then there are many things that you should not avoid and i swear gem mining is one of them. I heard there staff hires different companies for different tasks like one for cleaning sometimes or other things also. It was a good experience

  They treat you like they know you! It was an awesome experience from walking in, it wasn’t busy, so they placed us near the heat(Nov), we panned our bucket of sand & rocks, to where we had our Aquarium, my husbands birthstone, they sent off to be cut and mounted in a silver pendant and earrings! We had the most fun. Also purchased a bucket of rocks for our Grandson. Thank you
