  Third Rock Adventures was great to work with during all aspects of the trip. They customized my itinerary for my unique needs and interests. My guide, Pasang, was knowledgeable about the trail and region. He took great care of me during an episode of altitude sickness. The company continued to provide excellent care after the trip.   I just finished the EBC trek via Cho La Pass, and it was incredible. Naba and his team answered every question quickly and shared a very thorough itinerary that made planning easy. Our guide, Nirmal, was fantastic—professional, attentive, and always looking out for us. When weather and trail conditions changed, he adapted the plan seamlessly. I’d absolutely recommend this company for any trek and would happily book with them again.

  3rd Rock adventures are well organised and a very friendly team. Nirmal our guide and also our Porter got us through the hardest days I have ever experienced. Not only was the day to day running of the tour exceptional, when I had to leave the tour due to illness and take a helicopter back to Kathmandu, the process was extremely efficient and painless. 3rd Rock have their own helicopter retrieval coordinator and the whole process was very efficient indeed. They even went above and beyond the call of duty when I had my 50th birthday in the village and they sang me happy birthday and made me a cake. I would not hesitate to book again with Naba and the team.

  The absolute best trip. Third Rock Adventures are just brilliant. Always accessible to answer questions, from Naba to Ujawal, the manger, nothing was too much to ask. Our EBC trip was made even more magical by our guide, Dharma. Patient,calm, funny, always willing to help, checking up on us constantly to make sure we were ok. Predicting the weather and making the right calls and being spot on. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide for our family. The porters, Tilak and Ajaya, employed by Third Rock Adventures were excellent and wonderful people. The city tour provided by Third Rock was just as excellent. Our guide Jaya so knowledgeable and interesting. I can’t recommend Third Rock Adventures enough. We will never use any other operator in Nepal. Every little detail is thought about to make it the most seamless experience. Book Third Rock Adventures!

  The EBC trek was outstanding, and a big part of that was thanks to our guide, Iswor. He was incredibly supportive, attentive, and highly professional throughout the entire journey. His experience and calm approach made us feel safe and well taken care of at all times, especially during the more demanding parts of the trek. Our time in Bhutan was equally memorable, thanks to our guide Yonten. He was knowledgeable, kind, and always willing to share insights about the local culture and traditions, which made the visit much more meaningful and engaging. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, with great communication and support throughout the trip. We always felt in good hands!   I recently finished the Everest Base Camp trek with Third Rock Adventures and I’m very happy with how they handled everything. From the start, it was clear that the agency had thought of every detail, and they were always ready to adapt to our specific needs throughout the trip. Our guide, Iswor, was excellent. He really knew how to keep us focused on the trek and enjoying the scenery without letting us worry about the logistics. Whether it was concerns about the weather or altitude sickness, he managed everything calmly and kept us feeling safe and relaxed the whole time. It made a huge difference to have someone so professional handling the potential problems behind the scenes, allowing us to just enjoy the walk.   Our experience with Third Rock Adventures in Nepal was nothing short of outstanding. As a Canadian family that loves adventure, we truly appreciated how well-organized everything was; we never had to worry about a single detail, which allowed us to fully enjoy the journey. What really sets them apart, though, is their warmth and genuine care. They treat you like part of their family, and that feeling stays with you throughout the entire trip. Our guide, Pawan, whom we’ve had the privilege of trekking with on both the Annapurna and Everest Base Camp routes, is simply exceptional.   TRA is a truly professional trekking operator. They focus on your safety first while doing the best they can to accommodate what we want. We made our plans before going to Nepal with Naba, the owner. He makes good suggestions in making the itinerary to suit our needs. He checks on our insurances and others to make sure we are well covered and provides what we don't have. Secondly, the guide, Bimal is an expert in his field. You can tell that he is highly experienced, he keep things in check, our well being, our equipments, our comfort, etc.. He knows places well, makes good recommendations on lodges, foods, photo spots, timetable, etc. We made sudden change in itinerary, from going to Gokyo Ri, switching to EBC trek. We decided when we were in Namche. Within the next hours, Bimal and his team in Kathmandu confirmed the new itinerary with complete new bookings of the lodges. Amazing work! TRA also sent two experienced porters, Sunil and Raj that didn't just carry bags but actually helpful along the trek. We reached the EBC on time, in-line with our plans, and we made our way down to Pheriche. Before we reached EBC, we had wanted to experience flying in a heli, so Bimal and his team quickly managed a heli for us in Pheriche, which we managed to catch before 2 days of severe bad weather. We arrived in Lukla and had to stay for 2 nights due to bad weather. Here, we could testify how well connected Third Rock Adventures is with relevant organizations and venues in this business. Not only we got to stay in one of the best hotel in Lukla, they also got us on the first flight to Kathmandu when the weather allowed.   Third Rock Adventures provided a customized 14 day Everest Base Camp trek starting on the road with a Jeep trip over two days from Kathmandu to Salleri and Surke, and ending with a flight back from Lukla to Kathmandu. From the outset Naba was very professional and flexible with a custom tailored itinerary, as well as accommodating changes just prior to start due to flight delays, and once the trek commenced. My guide/porter duo of Man and Dhan were excellent looking after all my needs, especially my safety throughout the journey. They knew how best to pace the trek. The office manager and staff in Kathmandu as well as the local Kathmandu hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Excellent service overall. The trekking experience was incredible, with fantastic up close views of majestic mountains, valleys, rivers, wildlife, working animals and tremendous landscapes that have left me with lifetime of memories. The food and accommodations throughout were great. The pace was dictated thoughtfully by Man and Dhan with excellent commentary in identifying landmarks and the environment.   Had the time of my life doing EBC, Cho la pass and Gokyo with Hari. Hari is always up for a laugh and I didn't see him sad once! Just dont try verse him at cards or any other game, his a professional. Everything was taken care of so no stress, all you have to do is walk and take it all in. Highly recommend Third rock, I've already booked another trek with them.
