We booked this event as a treat during our trip to Tulum…and it exceeded expectations. We learned Mexican culture, myths and history, all while tasting and learning about cacao and chocolate. Sammy is passionate and knowledgeable. We loved it so much we may book one of her other tastings for our next trip.

Great experience! Shamira is so knowledgeable about the history of Mexico and the how the use and importance of chocolate has evolved throughout the world over time. She also took us through an amazing tasting of the artisanal chocolate she has curated - many of them have won the Cacao of Excellence award multiple times! Highly recommend making time for this during your time in Tulum

Shamira was incredibly welcoming from the moment I arrived. Her storytelling was mesmerizing, and her knowledge and passion for chocolate came through in every part of the experience. This was an amazing cultural history lesson of cacao & chocolate! It was easily a highlight of my trip to Tulum and would absolutely go back again. Highly recommend!

Amazing! Learning so much about cacao and chocolate in a warm and inviting atmosphere. My wife and I had a great time, learned so much and tasted some of the finest chocolate ever!! Highly recommend!!
