  We loved the more personal experience of going out on a small, private boat. Our guide was a delight and the snorkeling was wonderful. Highly recommend!

  This tour is worth it for the sunset alone, which our group agreed was the most stunning any of us had ever seen. Alex and Jon were consummate professionals, navigating the open waters with ease, so that we could relax and take in the beautiful Costa Rican sun. They were friendly and knowledgeable, pointing out animals along the way but also letting us enjoy the experience. They navigated us to a great snorkeling spot, where we jumped off into perfectly temperate water and saw all sorts of fish — then on the boat ride back, we glimpsed a massive sea turtle and a school of devil rays jumping in and out of the water to our group's collective glee. Our snorkeling outing was rewarded with a cooler packed with Imperial beers, fresh pineapple and Costa Rican snacks. And we finished off the trip by watching the sun drop below the horizon. What a dreamy afternoon, made possible by our fabulous navigators and hosts.

  We can totally recommend the boat tour and snorkelling! Our highlight were the dolphins. The crew was very friendly and they knew a lot about the sealife. The boatride itself was also quite fun. Go an check it out, you'll love it too.

  We had such a wonderful time on our snorkeling trip with Luis & Alex. We are a family of 5 - mom and dad, plus three kids ages 8, 10, and 12. On the way out to the snorkeling site, Luis & Alex pointed out a pair of sea turtles, and my son spotted some dolphins. Then we cruised near an island where they pointed out some giant iguanas, and told us about the Costa Rican 'snow' ;-). They were so knowledgeable about the area and made sure we were learning things along the way. The beach area near where we snorkeled was beautiful - but unfortunately we were not able to snorkel for very long because three out of five of us got stung by sea nettles. So we hopped back in the boat after a few minutes. But they took us up to the beach area and we were able to walk around and look at all the nature there. My son loved chasing all of the hermit crabs around. On the way back to the shore, they helped each of my kids reel in large fish. We were so excited about that. And then Luis dove down and grabbed a couple of beautiful sea stars for us to examine. They had sodas, water, fresh pineapple and cookies for us to snack on. Transportation was great - comfortable van, on time pick up, and friendly driver. In all, it was a fantastic day - definitely one of the highlights of our trip even though we did not spend much time actually snorkeling. It truly was a fun and memorable day. I am SO glad I booked this private trip instead of one of the larger 'group' snorkeling trips.

  We had a fabulous morning on the boat with Luis and Alex! Snorkeling was great! Saw turtles, rays, eels, dolphins, and a wide variety of tropical fish. Enjoyed beautifully served pineapple and drinks. Highly recommend!

  We had a great time on the tour! Luis and his partner found an amazing area for us to snorkel even though the water was choppy. They even grabbed some interesting fish from the water for us to see up close. We also enjoyed learning about the beaches and islands, and the scenery was beautiful. Thanks for a fun experience!

  My family and I we had a wonderful time, the snorkeling was amazing , we saw tons of school fish and one green turtle . The staff was patient, knowledgeable and professional , they know what they do, we just love it !!

  This was a great tour- A little bit of everything! from boating to sunning to snorkeling in a beautiful volcanic reef, and paddle boarding to an other island. It was so nice to be on the water and off the shore! Highlight for sure was the snorkeling. Very impressed with how cool the location was and variety of fish schools! Our hide angel was great! We got super close to so many cool puffer dish! Thank you guys!!
