• Fantastic Day trip in Suzhou

  A wonderful day trip from Nanjing to Suzhou - collected promptly from our hotel by our Nanjing Guide Fred, and transferred to the train station for our fast train to Suzhou, where we were met by our guide Joe and our driver. Joe was an excellent guide and very knowledgable about the city, its sights and its history. Our driver was very good and it was a smooth ride and he would appear within minutes at the end of each visit to collect us - the car was clean, spacious and airconditioned and 100% electric. Our tour included a visit to the Panmen Scenic area and the city wall and the main canal. A wonderful included Chinese lunch at a local restaurant, full of locals (always great to eat where the locals ear) and sampled some of the local specialities. Then on to the wonderful World Heritage Listed Humble Administrator's Garden. And then a boat cruise on the canals. Followed by a quick tea break and listening to some local music. Joe and our driver delivered us back at the train station in plenty of time for our high speed train back to Nanjing. Joe escorted us through security and stayed with us until the boarding call and made sure we were safely through check in. We were collected at Nanjing Station by our driver and safely delivered back to our hotel. The entire tour was overseen by the wonderful Alana, who messaged us to ensure we knew which exits at the stations to ensure we could find our guides/drivers. And also to remind us when to exit the train (as the trains can be travelling on to other cities, rather than terminating at our destination). This removed any worries we might have had about getting lost. The guides also sent our picutres to Alana, the other guide and driver so they knew who to look for in case we didn't see them. I highly recommend this tour and feel sure that other tours organised by this company and Alana would be of the same high standard.

  In January 2025 we took an all-day tour with FRANK as our guide. Frank guided my son and myself from Nanjing to Suzhou, taking the bullet train. We especially appreciated learning more in depth about the history and cultural nuances of Suzhou and the greater Suzhou/eastern seaboard (Hangzhou, Nanjing, Shanghai) region. Frank is truly a fount of wisdom, given his extensive training and personal experience. He also flexibly accommodated our schedule so that we could briefly stop by Suzhou University. The day with Frank was wonderful - Thank you, Frank!

  I learned so much from Fred about the rich history, interesting tales and facts of China as we went through all the main sights in a day. Efficient and informative.
