Best tour and tour guide ever in the Forbidden City

5.00We have been in many places in the world, the Forbidden City blew us away. Ren has been the best tour guide ever. He took ample time to guide us though the large complex of temples, telling all the stories of the emperors, empresses and mistresses, with a level of detail, deep knowledge and pride. Mid februari was also a perfect time to visit as there were hardly any crowds. If you want to get most out of your visit, you absolutely need a guide. On top of that, Ren took a series of pictures and videos and made a unique compilation for us.

5.00As far as tour guides go Ren was the best. His knowledge of history of the Forbidden City was fantastic and it didn’t stop there, he gave us a history lesson driving on the way there. His English was excellent, this tour far exceeded our expectations. We are tourists with limited traveling experience.
