  Nam was a wonderful tour guide and made sure the tour was fun, interesting and safe - teaching us how to cross the roads Vietnamese style whilst on our bike tour :) Thank you for a day packed with adventure. Tip: bring a cushion/ jumper to sit on for the Trang Ahn boat trip as the seats are quite hard.

  We booked this tour during our visit to Hanoi, Vietnam, as the destination is a bit too far for a DIY trip, and I couldn’t be happier with the service provided. Our tour guide, Nam, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights that made the experience even more engaging. They also have free buffet lunch. If you’re staying in the Old Quarter, they offer free pick-up, which is super convenient. I also booked my Sapa sleeper bus through them, and they did an excellent job arranging everything seamlessly.   It was fascinating to see a different part of Vietnam and be out of the hustle and bustle of the city. In particular, we enjoyed the climb to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain - where we experienced breathtaking views - and the tranquil boat ride. The tour guide had the good foresight to switch the order of the activities and we ended with the peaceful boat ride. In the spirit of constructive feedback - I would better educate the tour guide to be more careful with his comments. Calling a client “lucky Buddha” repeatedly may be offensive, and making inappropriate comments towards women is unacceptable; e.g., asking them for a kiss, asking them to go home with him, etc. Overall though, it was a wonderful experience and we would highly recommend it to others.   Wanted to share the awesome job Nam the tour guide, and our driver did today on our tour to Ninh Binh. I loved learning history of Vietnam, and the places were so interesting and the whole tour was very well organized. My friend and I had a lot of fun! Buffet was all encompassing, with lots of options for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. No hitches, you won't regret the money spent.   We spent an amazing day touring Ninh Binh with Nam guide! The tour was very well organized, we have been explained with the itinerary in detail. Our guide was Nam. He is very knowledgable and has a high level of English. He shared a lot of historic facts with us, it was really interesting. We highly recommend this tour and the guide. Family from Poland.

  Nam, our tour guide was very sweet and polite. He explained the history of Ninh Binh and the Dinh dynasty with so much passion that we were able understand and enjoy the stories. He was able to pass on a lot of the country’s history and rich culture. We appreciate all his efforts and thank him for the good experience!

  Wanted to share an excellent job done by Nam on the first day of his job as our tour guide on this day trip. Nam was very friendly, shared stories of the past in great detail and with lot of passion and took great care of everyone of us on the bus during the day trip. We thank him for the wonderful job and wish him all the very best in his job as Tour guide and am confident will do very well thanks very much Nam for everything !

  I went to Hanoi alone. Before I went to go Hanoi, my dream was to go ninh binh. So, I search for the tour. And I chose this tour because of the review. A day before the tour, a Kakao Talk message came to the guide "Nam”. I was very nervous because I went alone, but "nam" took good care of me, so I was able to enjoy it by myself. Especially, it was very nice to ride a bicycle and go around. And the lunch was so nice. Only two people can ride the boat, so I couldn't ride it alone, but Nam helped me ride it with Spanish women. And the women was sooooooo kind!!!!!!!! It was one of the best memories in my life. I heard that it was Nam’s first time. To be honest, I suspected that Nam was lying. Cuz he was sooooo perfect lol. After the tour, Nam texted me how was the tour. I think he is very considerable. Thank you Nam!!!! I hope that I visit Hanoi again and meet Nam again!! My English is not perfect cuz my native language is not English. But my review is sincere. / 저는 한국인이고 혹시나 한국인분이 이 투어에 참여하실 수 있어 한국말로도 덧붙입니다. 영어 리뷰랑은 다른 얘기 ㅋㅋ 하노이에 가는 비행기에서 이투어를 예약했고 사실 다른 투어들이 너무 비싸서 이투어를 예매했어요. 거의 10만원을 육박하더라고요. 그리고 이투어는 특이하게도 자전거를 태워줘서 신기했습니다. 투어 가면 사실 대부분 서양인들입니다. 영어가 안되시면 거의 이해 못하세요. 근데 nam도 베트남인이어서 수능 듣기평가 다 맞는 정도면 대충 아 얘가 뭔말을 하는 구나 다 이해할 수 있습니다. Nam이 본인의 첫날이라고 하는데 진짜인지 농담인지 아직도 모르겠어요 (제가 영어로 농담하는건지 진담하는건지를 진심모르겟어서..) 그런데 Nam이 진짜 떨려하고 하나하나 신경써주더라고요!!! 그리고 영어로 농담도 잘하시고 설명도 엄청 꼼꼼하게 잘해줘요(조금귀찮을정도로) 제가 혼자라서 보트를 혼자 탔어야하는데 스페인 여성 두분과 타게되었어요, 이때도 Nam이 도움을 줘서 타게되었고요! 이 투어 덕분에 스페인분과 처음 대화해보았고 제게도 좋은 경험이 되었습니다! 제가 지형에 관심이 많아서 이렇게 웅장한 카르스트 지형을 실제로 볼 수 있다니 너무 좋았어요!! 보트 + 자전거만 타도 너무 좋은 투어였고 다양한 문화권의 사람들과 만날 수 있어 너무 좋은 경험이었습니다!!

  We did the Ninh Binh trip with Old Quarter Travel and I can guarantee you Viet offers the best price in the market. He is super friendly and there are no hidden costs at all. You meet new people and they have a lot of tour options to choose from. An amazing experience indeed. And a big shout out to Viet!!!
