  Great day out with the family! Beautiful Soca river, best sceneries and nature. Good sandwich and fruit for picnic. Opportunities to swim in the river and jump off at certain points. Our guide Matias was very friendly and we all had a great time. Definitely recommend this trip!!!🌳👏🏼

  We did a full day of rafting with Soca Splash on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 and it was an awesome day of rafting! We were hoping we would be able to go in small inflatable kayaks for part of the day so when we got there and they offered that option, we were ecstatic. We’re fairly experienced rafters so it was amazing to be able to have the autonomy of being in our own boat. Our guide, Matias was great. He was from Argentina so we got to practice our Spanish and we ended up going with him and just one other couple for first part of the day. The beginning was a calm section with wave trains and a few small rapids. It was a beautiful open valley with views of the Julian Alps. We would describe the Soca River as Caribbean waters in the Slovenian mountains - so clear and bright aquamarine - which makes it extremely unique. It was a sunny and hot day so getting in the 10 degree C water was lovely. The picnic was nice too - sandwiches, grapes, and cookies. It was lovely to stop and hang on the river banks for a bit. Later we met up with a larger group to do the main rapids section. The water level was fairly low but still high enough to have a good time. The rapids were fun and we stopped a few times to slide down rafts and jump off cliffs - just like other guided raft trips we’ve been on. One thing that was really cool was that Soca Splash had a person taking our photos at different areas and our guide also got photos of us. At the end of the trip they sent them all to us and at no extra charge. That to me is going above and beyond. All in all, we had a wonderful time and everyone from Soca Splash were fun, friendly, and welcoming. If you do go rafting on the Soca, we recommend going when it’s sunny, if you have the choice. If you have to go on a rainy day, remember that they do offer gear to make colder days doable/enjoyable. We highly recommend booking with Soca Splash.

  Great experience in stunning surroundings! We took a full-day rafting trip and really enjoyed the experience. Due to low water on the Soča we rafted with the minirafts on the upper section from Čezsoča to Srpenica, then switched to the 8-man bigger rafts from thereon to Trnovo. The miniraft section in particular was fantastic. Thanks!
