  It was one of the best activities we had during our vacation in Portugal. As nature lovers, it was part of our travel plan to visit the only National Park in Portugal. The place itself is fabulous, with lush forests, waterfalls, lagoons, and breathtaking views; we also had luck to come across wild animals (horses and goats). And all this accompanied by Bruno, a super fun, communicative guide, who took us to beautiful corners of the Park via Quad-Bike trip. We got to know a little of the stories, culture and traditions of the villages that exist within the Park, not forgetting, of course, the local gastronomy - Eating and crying for more. I highly recommend this tour to nature lovers visiting Portugal. Thanks Bruno.

  Amazing day with mesmerising views. It's a must when visiting Portugal. Bruno (our tour guide) is very polite and considerate of the nature and all the locals and is very passionate about Gerês which makes the tour more exciting. The quad/buggie bike journey gave the whole day that extra excitement. I recommend it 1000%. We enjoyed lunch at a local restaurant with a really nice welcoming and tasty food.   The whole experience was absolutely amazing. With mesmerising views. Bruno (the tour guide) had a lot of knowledge about the whole area and took us to beautiful places, we could tell that he is very passionate about Gerês and all the locals, very respectful of the visitors, locals and all the nature around. Amazing experience from start to finish and this includes an exciting off road buggie/quad bikes allowing us to see areas with more difficult access by car. Definitely recommend. We got picked up/dropped off from Braga. Well worth it.

  There is much to explore in the national park: wonderful waterfalls, nice spots and trails, great view. After the quad-bike tour we had lunch by a local community, which was a great experience although not every dish was to my taste (luckily there was a variety of dishes so everyone found something). Our guide Bruno gave us lots of interesting information about the park and its history, for instance the wolf trail. Well organised, nice guide, many spots to explore - i highly recommend this tour!

  We had an amazing time doing the Quad-bike Gerês Tour! The guide was very nice and gave us a lot of information about the national park.

  In the morning we were well received in Porto. After a good 1,5 hour drive we arrived in the national park where we soon got to see beautiful views at our first stop. The Quad-bike tour was a very nice ride with nice slopes and descents. Along the way we got to see beautiful views and the local horses (we also saw wild horses on the way!). This was certainly a nice experience! After a few more stops with amazing views at different waterfalls and the top of the mountain, we stopped at a local restaurant where we got some delicious local food and wine. Here we have taken a walk to a beautiful waterfall where I was looking for a cool swim. On this trip we also met the local shepherds in the distance. at the end of the day we went to the wolf trap "Fojo do lobo" that they used for years, really amazing to see how it works. After this we returned to Porto and I ended this day with a good feeling. thanks to Bruno for the amazing trip and explanation. I really enjoyed my day.

  We booked a holiday to Porto for a couple of days and got the suggestion of a friend to explore the national park. I found this tour on Tripadvisor and decided to book it, based on how the tour was described. It was described on a friendly, detailed and passionate way and also because you get guided by a local and get to chance to go to a local restaurant. After we booked our trip with Trek Portugal, we immediately got a message frol Bruno (the guide). He gave us some info about our upcoming trip. We also got a small questionnaire about allergies and our health condition, so that they can make the tour more individual and possible adjustments if necessary. Bruno picked us up nearby our hotel and we had to drive about 1,5 hour to the national park. During the ride he gave us a lot of information about the park and why he started his tours. The Guad bike was really fun and nice to see all the nature. Normally we got guided by someone else than Bruno on this quad bike. But because of the guide of the quad bike didn't speak English, Bruno decided to join us and translated the whole trip! (Thank you :-)) After the quad ride he drove us to the border of Spain and Portugal. On the way of the boundary line we stopped at a few places and got to see a lot of nice views. Then it was time for lunch! He took us to a really nice local restaurant and joined us during this lunch. The whole time we got to learn about the Portugal food and how the local work and live together. The people of the restaurant were also very friendly and made sure we had a good time. The food and drinks were delicious! After a good meal, we were ready for the rest of our trip. We started the afternoon with a small hike and again.we got a lot of information about the culture, nature and the people living there. We ended up at a beautiful lagoon and got to chance to swim in the lagoon. After a rest and enjoying the nice view we continued our trip to another amazing view and a story about the wolfs. During this trip Bruno made a lot of photos and shared his passion about his work and the national park. We would like to say thank you for this amazing day! We enjoyed it a lot! It was the perfect trip to end our citytrip to Porto. Thanks! - Kind regards from Belgium :-)
