Very nice experience at the ice hotel, and meeting the reindeer in person, were very friendly as were the people who served us from the Sammi village. recommended this experience for everyone.

An amazing excursion led by the wonderful Yvla who described the Sami way of life in an authoritative & friendly way. The Church is stunning, the Reindeer friendly (especially when you have food!), the Sami village is beautiful and the Ice Hotel out of this world!! Would thoroughly recommend doing this trip - you won’t regret it!!

Really enjoyed myself. Tour guide Maya was lovely and well informed. It’s worth the money as you experience four great experiences: the church, the reindeer feeding, Sami museum and ice hotel. It was wonderful !

Thanks to Ylva for sharing their own sami culture with such enthusiasm. We started the tour driving around Kiruna to see how the mine is transforming the city, many questions about that and Ylva answered them all. Then we visited the old church of Jukkasjärvi, the oldest in Lapland. Many questions again answered about the sami people, their religion and traditions. We headed then to feed the reindeers, a special moment outdoors even at -32°c. You can have a look at the small open air museum in this Nutti Sámi Siida sami farm and buy some craft gifts. Finally we went to visit the Icehotel, where we could spend a full hour in our own, truly interesting visit!! Thanks Scandinavian Photoadventures for this tour!

We really loved our time visiting the 400yo church which is in an absolutely beautiful setting, while learning about the Sami people and their religion and way of life before visiting and feeding the reindeer, and finishing the tour with the amazing ice hotel . Peter was a lovely guide and it was great to do this tour as a contrast to the other more active pursuits we undertook in Abisko and Kiruna.
