  The ferry to and from Tallinn was really enjoyable. The ferry is beautiful with things to do, places to eat, fun shopping. It goes by quickly and the view from the window is beautiful. The guide in Tallinn took too much time of the tour. While she was nice, the tour was way too detailed. I can't remember half of it. I think a 2 hour guided tour would have been enough or at least one quick coffee stop in between. I was starving by the time we got to go for lunch at 3 p.m. Then we only had 2.5 hours to eat and shop. It felt rushed.

  They picked us up from our hotels in limos and dropped us back in limos. The cruise ship was a luxury cruise ship. Our guide was Estonian and spoke fluent English. He picked us up in his car to take us to the old city, spoke about the old city for a good two hours and then dropped us back at the ferry. This is the best experience I've ever had on a tour in terms of all around service.

  My day trip to Tallinn was absolutely fantastic. The Old Town is spectacular and feels like stepping back in time. If you’re a history enthusiast—especially if you enjoy medieval history—this tour is a must. Having a local guide who was both knowledgeable and passionate about Tallinn’s history made the experience even more enjoyable. The guided portion provided excellent insight into the city’s rich past, and the several hours of free time afterward allowed us to revisit favorite sites and explore areas at our own pace. The ferry ride aboard the MyStar was smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable, making the journey between Helsinki and Tallinn easy and stress-free. What surprised me most was how quickly I fell in love with Tallinn. As the day came to an end and we boarded the ferry back to Helsinki, I found myself already wanting to return. There is so much more to see, explore, and experience than can be covered in a single day, and I left knowing I would return.
