  Our guide, Antonio, was a very friendly local architecture student. I can’t rate the tour higher however because none of this came through in the tour. There was light banter throughout but very little in the way of explanations of what we were seeing or the history of Porto. Ultimately it felt like we were being guided by a good friend who had been living in the city for just a few months. Separately, and this perhaps is not the fault of the guide, the city’s connection with Harry Potter is tenuous at best. A book shop that may have inspired Hogwart’s staircases and a cafe where some of the early writing was done are about it. So advertising this as a Harry Potter tour feels a bit misleading.

  Excellent introduction to Porto. Carlos was an excellent guide, full of enjoyable tidbits about Harry Potter but also regarding the town itself

  Carlos was an amazing guide! Highly recommend this tour. He had great city information, took us to a few hidden spots, recommended great food, and of course, had a wealth of harry potter info. Great tour, well worth the cost! We would do it again in a heartbeat! Thanks, Carlos

  Carlos was amazing! He showed us all the beautiful sites for the Harry Potter inspirations. He also showed us all the the amazing prison, beautiful churches, the oldest bakery and treated us to delicious pastries. His knowledge of Porto is extensive and he went beyond! He gave us recommendations of restaurants and even called the restaurant to make dinner reservations for us! The restaurant Sancho Panza was in Gaia with a picturesque view of Porto. Thank you Carlos for a memorable tour of a beautiful city!

  The tour guide was wonderful- an architect who really knew her stuff. BUT, the tour was booked expressly because of it's inclusion of visiting Levraria Lello (the gothic bookshop) and WE DIDN'T GO THERE!

  We had a fun & informative afternoon on this tour. We were not all Harry Potter fans, but the Harry Potter information was inter dispersed with so many facts & stories about Porto it really was a tour for everyone.Thanks so much!

  We had the tourist guide Carlos. Very friendly and took a lot of time to make explanations. Child friendly and very accommodating. Overall great performance.
