• Absolutely Beautiful scenery !!!!

  Absolutely beautiful scenery, similar to Alaska but with more waterfalls. The boat could have been more prepared as they did not have all the chairs out on the deck setup for viewing, nor did they offer to get them. I found them and started everyone rushing to get them. They did not have a very loud speaker system for the narratives offered during the ride going to the end of the fjord so most people outdoors missed quite a bit. Whenever the captain spoke it was much louder. We asked to turn up the volume but it made little difference. After the excursion was over I noticed where it was mentioned to download their app for the dialogue, yet the people on the boat did not mention it, nor was there signage. There was wifi. Snack shop was reasonable. Also, it returns the exact same route so many people had pre-arranged to ride a bus back for that scenery instead of duplicating the boat scenery. I did not see that option when booking. The view from both sides was very beautiful. The restrooms and boat were clean and we met some very nice people. You are free to walk around on the boat but it would be challenging for physically impaired as the boat has multiple levels.

  Amazing views, just the right amount of time. Comfortable, interesting boat with friendly crew. Want to spend a night in Hotel Oye next time! Scenery there may be best anywhere, and I’ve travelled a lot.

  This was a fabulous shore excursion from the cruise. Very conveniently located at cruise port. They have multiple levels comfortable seating or ability to sit outdoors! Highly recommend!!

  5 hours of spectacular scenery and a relaxing boat ride. Take your camera. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience with what turned out to be a perfect weather day.

• Sensational fjord cruise

  This was the absolute highlight of our visit to Norway. We got very lucky with the weather, but the views on this fjord are absolutely stunning, and the quality of this cruise matched it. The English commentary from the Icelandic native lady, and now local resident, was just brilliant. Funny, informative, clever, she had an answer for everything and added enormously to our enjoyment.   Lovely day on a slow boat up the fjord.. great hotel to visit at the end of the boat trip,, limited time but worth the efffort.. 1949 built boat.. yesteryear design with awesome scenery.. 6 hrs in total.

  Unfortunately this is very poorly organised and the staff on board do not communicate or keep you informed. Firstly, there is not a lot of room on the main deck due to a strange layout (MS Brunvnik) and people just kept cramming themselves in as nobody was made aware there is more seating in the lower deck (this is not easy to Spot or navigate unless directed). Secondly, we were given no information in terms of navigation or timings for arrival ports, departure times from ports and waiting time at Oye. They do not provide any information voluntarily and this is very different compared to our cruise to Geiranger with another well organised operator. Lastly, perhaps we were part of the minority but there was a choir onboard during our cruise that kept going around signing every hour or so. Sorry but we did not enjoy this or sign up this at all. I was not aware people can simply board any cruise and just go around signing at will whether passengers like it or not. Overall a very poor experience and one I would not recommend.

• Filthy, Dirty windows

  I’m currently on this boat (Gabriele) but really disappointing as you cannot see anything out if the windows, they are all filthy. I went on a boat yesterday and the windows were spotless so there’s no excuse, clean the boat it’s important as this is a once in a lifetime trip. It’s freezing cold today hence why I sat inside but really angry as paid a lot if money to do this with Cunard. I have added a photo and every window is this dirty.
