• An unforgettable adventure in the Kyrgyz mountains

  We had an amazing 6-day horse trekking tour to Kel-Suu. From the very beginning, our guide was friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about sharing his beautiful country with us. We experienced breathtaking landscapes, crossed high mountain passes, visited the stunning Kel-Suu Lake, and spent an unforgettable night camping on a remote high plateau with nothing around us but nature. Throughout the trip, our guide always made us feel safe, comfortable, and welcome. What made the experience truly special was not only the incredible scenery but also the warm hospitality, interesting conversations, and the opportunity to learn more about local life and culture.   Had an incredible tour with Visit Atlay on a 6 Day horse trek to Kel-Suu Lake. With a group of 90% beginner riders we all learnt quickly thanks to our guide Sanjar and the horseman who were absolute legends! The tour took us through mountain passes, remote villages, and yurt camps with stunning views. Despite the poor weather we unfortunately encountered yet were prepared for, everybody hustled through and made the most of the experience. We got sun, rain, thunderstorms, hail and snow throughout our trek, but moral was high as the experience was genuine to surviving harsh mountain terrain on horseback. The horses were extremely tame and perfect for beginner to experienced riders. Very calm in situations where I would’ve thought horses would spook, like having a pack of dogs run and bark towards us. Our horses were perfectly assigned and our guides were open to swap horses if the rider was not comfortable. Be prepared for long haul drives to the destination, but no worries as Sanjar will always have a game for the group to pass time and get to know each other, or karaoke of course. Total distance covered was roughly 60km, and 10ish hours on the horses. Along with an extra ride with spare time and optional hikes which were a must do around the yurt camps.

  The 6-day trek to Kel Suu was truly a once in a lifetime experience. The scenery was breathtaking, the horses were amazing, and everything was so well organized. Our guide Sanjar made the trip extra special with his knowledge, humor, and genuine care for everyone in the group. I loved the mix of stays from yurts to guesthouses and even a tent night. I always felt welcomed and completely immersed in Kyrgyz culture.   Amazing tour with Sanjar, the best guide ever! We spent a dreamlike six days in the Kyrgyz mountains. Everything was well-organized, we just had to relax and enjoy. The transportation in the minibus was great, thanks to a very friendly driver. Sanjar led us to fantastic places to eat, with great recommendations for local food. The days in the mountains were the best, with stays in yurts and tents. We got to meet amazing horses and had a blast galloping! All the horses were gentle and easygoing. The landscapes were also phenomenal, and we even got to swim in a lake! Thank you so much, Sanjar, for this trip. We will remember it for a long time!

  The 6-day horse trek to Kel Suu Lake was absolutely incredible. The scenery was of course breathtaking, and the horse riding extraordinary. I always felt safe and well taken care of thanks to the professional driver, horsemen, and our knowledgeable guide, Sanjar. He really made the trip unforgettable by creating a fun, welcoming group atmosphere and making sure everyone felt comfortable and connected. I loved the variety of stays, from guesthouses and yurts to a tent night, which added so much to the adventure. The food was excellent too, with great local recommendations along the way.   The 6-day Visit Alay tour to Kol Suu lake went beyond all my expectations. Special thanks to my amazing guide Sanjar, always smiling and knowledgeable about everything, and Milran, the ever friendly driver. Without them the tour would not have been such a great experience and they deserve all the praise in the world. The company as a whole is very professional and the itinerary is extremely well balanced, offering different typed of experienced and stays at hotels, tourist camp, wild camping, yurt camp and a guesthouse. I had the chance to have an incredible weather the entire time which made the scenery even more spectacular than it already is and made me feel that my pictures are even more beautiful than the ones advertised on the website. The highlight of the tour, reserved for the last day, is the breathtaking Kol Suu lake which is by far the most beautiful lake I’ve seen in my life. The terrain along the way offers gorgeous mountain passes and large grasslands perfectly suited to galop with your energetic kyrgyz horse.

  The Kel Suu horse trek with Sanjar was a once in a lifetime experience! The landscape was stunning, the horses amazing and everything was super well organized. Visit Alay might be a bit more expensive than other tours but worth every cent. Sanjar was the most caring and fun guide one could wish for. He speaks great English and did everything to make sure everyone in the group had a great experience, managing the group members different levels of experience with horses.   Had an amazing time on the Horse Trek to Kel Suu Lake with Sanjar. He was an excellent guide who made the experience unforgettable by combining passion, knowledge, and adventure. All of our hosts were generous and welcoming, and there were plenty of options to rest, play, or explore every day. The horse riding lessons were great and even the most inexperienced riders were able to complete the trek with no issues. Since I’ve returned I’ve recommended a trek to Kyrgyzstan with Sanjar to all of my friends and I hope to come back soon to see more of this beautiful area!

  Amazing scenery and well trained horses. We were made to feel very welcome in Kyrgyzstan by our guide, driver and horseman. The tour was well organised and our guide, Sanjar, is very passionate and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. We enjoyed every minute of our trip and would love to come back.
