  Wow! We had such a special time with Griffin and Morgan whale watching. We saw not only humpbacks but Baby Goose, a pod of Dall’s Porpoise and a family of Orca. The energy on the boat was high! We had a lovely sized group didn’t feel crowded around the boat to get a great view. If you want amazing commentary and high energy book with Alaska Tales.

  We went on a tour with Morgan and Deltan and had a fantastic time! They knew the whales by name and we were able to spot about 4-5 of them. The pick up and drop off were also super seamless. Highly recommend.

  We had a terrific whale watch trip with the crew of Captain Michelle and guides Taylor and Kacie. We saw more whales than we could count. The knowledge they shared real made the trip special.

  I cannot say enough good things about the crew of the Quinn Starr (Krichelle, Ash, and Kacie). We had an amazing trip and got to see five or six Humpback Whales. Pick up from the dock was pretty easy. Our cruise docked at the AJ Dock which is about a mile down the road. We were in Juneau on a very busy cruise day. We docked at 1:30 and took a free shuttle to the pick up location. Our shuttle driver to the harbor was Lexi and she was hilarious. The Quinn Starr is the newest boat in their fleet. It was fast and seating was comfortable. There is a bathroom onboard as well. Krichelle was an amazing captain, she got us right in the action and gave us consistent, unobstructed views of the whales despite a crowded viewing area. Kacie and Ash gave us all a lot of information on the whales and were super interactive with the entire group. I love that the crew knows the names of all the local whales, it definitely adds to the experience to know the crew cares so deeply about these beautiful whales.

  Great experience. Process of meet up & drive was seamless. Staff very knowledgeable & friendly. Shout out to Michelle, Kacie, & Taylor. Saw lots of whales & sea lions. The boat was also very clean.

  What a great adventure! Taylor was super helpful and taught us what to look for as we headed out on the boat, then Kacie answered all our questions while we had several whale sightings. Great staff and super clean, comfortable boat. Loved the whole experience!
