What To Expect
Zhinvali Dam
ジンバリ ダムは、ジョージア州ジンバリのコーカサス山脈のアラグヴィ川にある水力発電ダムです。ジンバリ水力発電所には、公称容量 65 MW のタービンが 2 基あり、それぞれの合計容量は 130 MW です。ジンバリ貯水池は独特の V 字形をしており、水の色も独特で、素晴らしい景色を眺めることができます。
Ananuri fortress complex
アナヌリ (グルジア語: ანანური) は、トビリシから約 45 マイル (72 km) 離れたジョージア州のアラグヴィ川沿いにある城です。 13世紀からこの地域を支配していた封建王朝。城は数々の戦いの舞台でした。複合施設内には、他の建物の中でも 2 つの教会があります。背の高い正方形の塔に隣接する古い聖母教会には、アラグヴィ公爵の墓があります。 17 世紀前半の建物で、レンガ造りです。バルゼム公爵の息子のために 1689 年に建てられた、より大きな神の母教会 (Ghvtismshobeli)。彫刻が施された北側の入り口と南側のファサードに彫刻が施されたブドウの十字架を含む、豪華に装飾されたファサードを備えた中央のドーム型の構造です。また、多くのフレスコ画の遺跡も含まれていますが、そのほとんどは 18 世紀の火事で焼失してしまいました。

Avoid Viator - tour operators Scam

1.00The other travellers should hereafter avoid Viator as they do not do the background check of the tour operators. The tour operator Tour2georgia did not turn up at 9 am and disconnected the calls which we made to contact him. The payment made as well as a spoilt vacation is what we are left with.

1.00The guide didn't arrive! It's impossible to give zero stars, but we would if we could. Now we need to get a refund. Left us waiting and took our money.

Kazbegi, Gergetti and Ananuri

1.00I am still puzzled as we didn't stop at any place or area called Kazbegi. OUr guide said that it was renamed stepanandra, which we also didn't visit but he told us about the local legend. THis was a short day - we were back at the hotel by 16.30hrs. Gergeti was the highlight and an excellent visit. General concern all tour cars do not appear to be licenced to carry tourists - does this matter??

5.00The trip from tiblisi is a warm 22 degrees. But the further you go up north and the weather changes from sunny to snow top mountains. Despite wearing the wrong type of clothing the cold temperature and the snow top mountains are a breath of fresh area and absolute beauty, I simply can’t complain. My suggestion, whether you want to hike or not come prepared for hiking and bring a warm jacket. As you drive up the mountain the temperature drops about 5 degrees so it is colder once your at the top. But to be honest the scenery is so beautiful you forget the cold.
