各ダンス クラスで私が目指しているのは、参加者が本当に学んでいると感じ、進歩に気づくことです。私にとって常に重要なのは、参加者が自分のプロセスに安心感、自信、満足感を感じていることです。 さらに、授業をインタラクティブで楽しく、わかりやすいものにするよう努めています。 私は、ラ・フォルトゥナの地元の敷地内にあるダンススタジオという環境や、その中で考慮するラテンの要素などの文化的要素を考慮して、この体験を行っています。 私も同じように、自分の仕事に全力を注ぎ、情熱を注いでいます。 私は生涯ずっとダンサーであり、熱意を持ってクラスを教えるのが好きです。 私は皆様のあらゆる質問に丁寧にお答えし、皆様にとって信頼と安心できる環境を常に作れるよう努めております。 私はラテン系の女の子で、ラテン系の人々の文化と歴史を愛し、自分の仕事が大好きです。だからこそ、私が教えるのと同じくらい、皆さんにも私の授業を楽しんでもらいたいと願っています。

5.00We had the most fun experience taking a salsa class with Yau and Lorena! This was our first time salsa dancing and they took their time to explain the basics and practice with us. We were able to perform a full routine by the end of the hour session! Would highly recommend this activity to anyone looking for a fun time and to take your mind off everything and just focus on dancing with your family/friends! Thanks again girls!

5.00Awesome experience with very talented, patient and friendly instructors. If you want to learn Latin dance while in Costa Rica, you can’t get more authentic. They will work with you as a group, solo or couples and give personalized attention. I left feeling much more confident and ready to try out my dance skills. Plus, the class was a blast and one of the best experiences I had while in Costa Rica. Book it!

5.00I had so much fun learning to salsa with Yau! Even though I was traveling solo and no one else signed up, she still accommodated me and made the experience enjoyable. I left feeling more confident and motivated to continue practicing at a local club. Highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to learn salsa while visiting La Fortuna (beginners welcome). Yau also teaches bachata and merengue, and on Thursday evenings you can join a bachata class taught in Spanish. Tip: Push harder than you think to open the grey gate to the left of Super Sinai. The studio is located in the back patio.
Best class! A must do if you’re going to La Fortuna Costa Rica.

5.00Amazing class! I traveled to Costa Rica with my daughter and we took Yau’s class. We were late bc we had some issues with our transportation and Yau was so patient and accommodating. We had the friendliest, warm greeting upon arrival. They taught us an entire choreography which we performed in the end. Very patient and clear. No prior experience necessary. One of our favorite memories from our trip! Book this for sure!!

5.00This was the greatest hour of our trip. I took a 7 & 9 yr. old for a dance lesson. She was absolutely FANTASTIC. She was kind and fun. Spanish & English. Very good with young kids. We loved it. Highly recommended. THANK YOU!

From the very first class, it was clear that Yau brings not only technical expertise but also so much passion for dance that makes every session enjoyable. What sets Yau apart is her ability to focus on the details that truly elevate your dancing—like really feeling and catching the rhythm, refining elegant movements, building a connection with your dance partner but also being creative with the movements you know. She’s helped me to develop not just technique, but also musicality and agility, which has made my dancing feel more expressive and fun. Each class is personalized, encouraging, and full of positive energy. Whether you're aiming to improve your skills or just want to experience the joy of dancing with a great teacher, I couldn’t recommend Yau’s classes more.

5.00Really fun and educational teaching of the owner of the studio, Yau. We started by learning “the basics” and ended up being able to dance together 2 and 2 in a more free flow. Anyone can participate regardless of level. Yau is good at adapting the hour to you. Also nice with a cool drink in the heat ☺️☺️ I can warmly recommend this authentic experience to others!
