A Wonderful Surprise

5.00When our tour company included a farm tour in our 15 day itinerary we were not sure what to expect or whether it would be a good use of our time. They were smarter than we were. In the end this was one of the best tours we enjoyed and even gave an opportunity to see some wildlife up closer than on the nature tours. The lunch was excellent, our guide and interpreter, Fernando, and the actual farm owner, Freddie, did an excellent job of showing us what crops and livestock are grown and exactly what farm life is like in the mountains of Costa Rica. We even had a chance to plant 2 different plants and feed sweet potatoes to a group of enthusiastic cows. This was a great way to break off from the normal tourist route and learn about the actual country you are in.

5.00We had an incredible experience at Monkey Park in La Fortuna! My family and I had an amazing time together, and it was truly a memorable visit. We were able to see several beautiful animals, including sloths, butterflies, and many different kinds of birds. The food was delicious, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended for a wonderful family experience!

5.00An authentic experience. We did the tour as a family, and it was wonderful. The guides were very friendly, and their knowledge and experience really showed. We walked along the trails and enjoyed some delicious food. It was a beautiful tour! We had a great time while learning at the same time.

5.00We had an amazing experience at Monkey Park during our visit to La Fortuna Arenal! From the moment we arrived, we were lucky enough to see monkeys right away 😍—definitely the highlight of our trip. Javier, our guide, was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the tour. He made the entire experience even more special. During the farm visit, Don Freddy, the owner, was our personal driver and host. He was extremely welcoming and kind to my family, making us feel right at home. Our baby especially loved feeding the cows, which was such a unique and memorable experience. After exploring the area, we were treated to fresh coconut water—absolutely delicious and so refreshing! The tour ended with a lovely local snack, which was the perfect way to wrap up such an authentic experience. We truly appreciated the opportunity to connect with the local culture and community. Highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting the area! Just make sure to bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent, as you’ll be right in the middle of the forest.
