What To Expect

Gabe was a fantastic guide & wealth of knowledge about the history of the families that built the homes & architecture.

4.00This tour was very focused on the old homes in the Old Louisville neighborhood. We enjoyed the roughly 2 hour walk and saw lots of amazing homes, including some smaller areas that likely would have been missed on our own. The tour guide was very knowledgeable on various homes in the neighborhood and provided lots of detailed facts along the way. What I felt was missing was information on the historical period when this neighborhood developed. She did not provide the context for how and why Louisville was growing during that period so it was hard to retain all the random facts about specific homes.

5.00Wow - what a true dive into the history of Old Louisville! Angelique was an amazing guide - so knowledgeable and passionate! It rained during a lot of the tour, but I don’t think a single person minded - we were all drawn in to the incredible architecture and fascinating stories. I’d definitely recommend!

5.00Angelique was amazing. We had a nice little group and it was 200% clear that she knows the area as a long term local. The stories just bubbled out of her! Despite the drizzle, we were so interested we didn’t notice that the trip ran a bit long. Don’t hesitate—this is totally worth the $.
