  It was a truly wonderful experience. The tour guide was exceptional and very professional. She led my family and me to various food night markets where we sampled a wide variety of authentic and delicious Penang cuisine. Her extensive understanding of Penang City's culture and history was impressive as she guided us to cultural heritage sites, temples, and historical locations. We also enjoyed a tour of the Penang night view. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend booking this tour.

  We spent over an hour and a half driving up to a temple on the back of a scooter that wasn’t on the food tour. We had one meal at the beginning and then didn’t stop at any of the other stops that were listed. We left the tour early as after 4 hours in, we had done one food stop and visited a temple. We were incredibly uncomfortable and disappointed with our experience.

  Thank you Mark for this fabulous food & cultural tour. Words cannot describe the variety of food you taste on this tour. Chinese, Malayan, Indian dishes we never heard before (to name one: Carrot Cake) - all so delicious with special ingredients. We've eaten in some spots/food stalls we will never find again - so special. Besides: the Vespa guides are very careful, absolutely friendly and helpful drivers. Thank you guys! If you are in KL, book the Cooler Lumpur Tour (same company - different experience - also a must-have)!

  Philip is one of the friendliest and knowledgeable guides we’ve come across. The Vespa drivers are also very friendly, helpful, accommodating and safe. The overall experience was fun and delicious! The stalls are definitely local favorites and authentic and not something you’d find on YouTube or TikTok. Do yourself a favor and book this unique experience.

  Philip and the team were great. We were taken to a number of local eateries off the beaten track and we had the opportunity to sample a wide selection of local street food, all the food was authentic and very tasty. Philip took the time to cater for our 8 year old daughter who is very fussy by choosing certain foods to her tastes. Although the food was fantastic, moving round the city on the Vespas was a highlight, our daughter was buzzing and loved every minute on the Vespas.   In spite of warm rain, we went out on a Vespa, expertly piloted by Ashe, his personal candy apple green 200. This guy was one with his bike. Our leader and guide Mark could not have been more gracious, kind and informative. This guy is the mayor, he knows everybody and can pivot on a dime. Absolute A1. Don’t leave Penang without this trip.

  My family of five, including two teenagers aged 14 and 16, and a 9-year-old child, had an unforgettable evening with Vespalicious. The drivers were extremely cautious, making even our youngest member feel at ease immediatisieren. The tailored highlights they showed us were fantastic, but the food markets they took us to were truly exceptional. Thanks to Philipp and his team, we had the chance to savor a wide variety of local delicacies that we would have never discovered on our own. A perfect ten out of ten stars experience!

  Mark was a fantastic tour guide and we had a wonderful evening. He showed us around several local hawker food locations and selected the very best quality food - by far the best food we have had during our whole trip in Malaysia so far! Incredibly tasty & authentic. Mark was very insightful with the history of Penang and local art/the best places to visit too. Our Vespa drivers were also lovely & very safe on the roads, a great way to get around & see the city when it is so hot. Thank you very much mark!! All the best, Tamsin & Camille

  The Vespalicious tour was one of the highlights of our stay in Penang. Philip, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and adapted the tour to both incorporate the Chingay Festival and avoid some of the traffic jams it generated. Philip took us to an amazing street food market, well off the beaten tourist track, where the food was truly amazing - the best we’ve had in Malaysia. Our drivers were skilled and we felt safe at all times. We would highly recommend this experience.

  We had a great experience with the vespalicious tour. We booked a party of 19 and I was little nervous wiring the deposits to Malaysia but everything turned out perfect. The tour group arrived with 20 Vespas ranging from brand new to classic models from the 80s. Drivers were professional and fun. It was great being guided to some of the best street food in Penang and stories from uncle Phillip. Highly recommend this tour!
