  Kevin was an excellent Guide who was knowledgeable about Pico. He tailored the tour to our specific interests— which included the history of whaling, volcanoes, and secret scenic spots. The picnic lunch he packed was scrumptious. He was so kind when I forgot my coat in his car and brought it back to me, even though the hotel was far away. Next time we are in Pico, I will definitely hire Kevin again as our Guide.

  What a wonderful day! Kevin’s knowledge of the island was excellent. His homegrown salad and homemade chocolate mousse were outstanding and made a very special picnic lunch. He took such care to ensure we had a memorable day. We can’t recommend this experience highly enough

  We booked a half day wine tasting tour that last much longer because we were having so much fun. Not just with the wine tasting (great wines, by the way) but the learning about the history and how they make the wine and the stone walls in the fields …. It’s too much for me to tell you, just take the tour! You won’t be sorry. Kevin is engaging and takes you to enchanting places. You’ll hear great stories.   This tour was amazing! Kevin is extremely knowledgeable about volcanoes and caves in Pico! We were truly amazed to learn how the lava flows an creates tunnels as its cooling! The natural beauty is absolutely breathtaking to see! Kevin also packed us of course some local wine but also cheeses from the area along with homemade jams that were delicious! We sat overlooking the ocean crashing into the volcanic rocks which made our picnic even more spectacular! He also took us into a cave which was unbelievable to see!

  Kevin served us a wonderful tour. First through the oldest volcanic part of Pico with beautiful views of lakes and vistas. In the second part the youngest part of Pico around the mountain. We were provided with nice information. After the lunch he provided in an idyllic place with a sea view, we went to visit the wine region. Nice vineyards and wine museum visited. Again provided with good information. Visited a lava cave at the end of the day. Thank you Kevin for this beautiful day.

  This private tour was the absolute highlight of our trip! Kevin took us around the island with many stops and small hikes along the way to soak in the breathtaking views of all the nature and beauty of Pico Island. The picnic lunch was a lovely touch. The perfect mix of adventure and discovery — highly recommend!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

  Fully recommended activity. I went with my wife and the guide made us a private excursion, adapted to our needs. Thank you very much to Kevin for his treatment and for his explanations about Pico. He also prepared us a lunch, with typical island specialties and with products from his own garden, in an incredible place. Definitely the best way to get to know the island.

  Kevin is a superb, knowledgeable tour guide - and a genuinely wonderful person. We were there during the rainy season but he made sure we saw so many wonderful sites - including a lava tube, the wine region and many more…just the best!

  Kevin is an excellent guide! He’s knowledgeable about the islands, professional, friendly and has a great sense of humor. He adjusts quickly to the weather and makes sure everyone has a great experience. He is also very sensitive to any physical issues of his guests. We loved our day…even though it was rainy in the upper regions, we still had a great day! Pico Island is beautiful! Thank you Kevin! 🙏🏼😊

  We had a great time with Kevin and would highly recommend this activity. He was knowledgeable, friendly, organized, and adaptable / accommodating of our interests and preferences. We got a great overview of the island, history, geology and nature. As well as a delicious picnic lunch. We had intended to do this tour on our first day on the island but it ended up being on our last day and still added a lot to our experience. Kevin was generous with his time and followed up with recommendations for our next destination as well.
