  I highly recommend Rita as a guide for your visit to Pico. I took the half-day private tour due to time constraints and was shown quite a bit in that period of time. She's very knowledgeable, friendly and engaging and made the experience a memorable one. She really seems to enjoy what she does and is proud of where she lives, which makes it more authentic than those guides that seem like they're reading off cue cards. Highly recommend.

  If you want to get to know the Pico Island in an intimate, relaxed and adapted to your pace I recommend this Tour. Rita was an excellent guide and her love for Pico is reflected in how she tells us the history of the island. Every stop has a meaning and Rita has a lot of knowledge to share. Simply excellent! We loved the tour, we loved to meet Rita and we gave in to the beauty of Pico Island and the kindness of the Picarotos! I thank Rita very much for, even being on a Sunday and having a less pleasant climate, she adapted the tour in the best way possible and provided an incredible experience! I recommend it to everyone and we will definitely return to Pico.

  Rita our tour guide was just exceptional, so friendly and personable. Didn’t merely tell us we had a certain time length to explore, explained everything in detail and answered all of our questions while touring directly with us. Highly recommend this tour, it was everything we expected and more!

  We stayed on Pico Island in total leisure mode, looking for nature, authenticity and quality time for two. Rita was undoubtedly one of the best decisions of our trip. From the first contact showed professionalism, organization and genuine attention to detail. Nothing was left to chance. It quickly perceives the profile of who has ahead and adapts the script to the pace and interests of the couple, without rush and without that “standard” format of tourist visit. What we most appreciated was precisely this ability to balance knowledge of the island with a close and authentic approach. We felt accompanied, not guided. There was caution in choosing the locations, the timing of the stops, the suggestions beyond the obvious. We recommend without hesitation to those who want to know the Pico!
