  This was absolutely amazing! First time for my husband and me, and we were both completely thrilled - it put us in a great mood for the whole day. The boat is incredibly beautiful, and looking up at the sails is a truly mesmerizing experience. A huge thank you to our captain and guide, Matilde. She is a very pleasant person, and we clicked instantly. The communication was great: Matilde was wonderful at keeping up the conversation - never too much, never too little, just very warm and engaging. We had so much fun with her! We got to steer the boat, and Matilde actually taught us how to do it. She kept asking what we wanted to try next - whether we wanted to go fast or practice making turns. The whole experience brought so many emotions. Highly recommend!

  Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about sailing and readily adapted to our different skill levels. He let us mix and match site seeing with a sailing lesson. We were first timers just looking for a nice time on the water but walked away with a better understanding of mechanics of sailing. We highly recommend.

  Instructor Alex made the excursion fun and exciting for us as he rotated us 3 students through the basic positions (front sail, main sail, and rudder). Alex taught us a base line understanding of how to sail with humor and calm- I would do this class again if I had the time here. Sailing with a view of Porto and Gaia was a lifetime experience.

  I took a couple private sailing lessons and I had an incredible time. I could not have asked for a better experience as a novice sailor. The boat was easy to manage and very exciting. Special thanks goes to Gonçalo, who is very professional, has a great knowledge of sailing and enjoys teaching as well. I highly recommend them and I will certainly return to BBDouro next time!

  We did a private sailing lesson with Diogo and we were not disappointed. What a fantastic instructor and sailor he is. Experience and knowledge is what he brings to the table and puts both to full use. We will be talking about this 2.5 hours for a long time. Made us even think we’re going to get a boat and sail off the US east coast. Thank you

  Amazing experience! We had the chance to sail in the middle of the old city center and also on the natural reserve area of the river and we finished by going out in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean which was incredible!! Highly recommended, great way to see the city.

  Funny boat, fast and very reactive. A true sports sailing experience with a spectacular day of sun and wind. The Skippers Diogo was also very attentive and friendly. Repeat!!
