5.00Marco was a very good chef and teacher. He provided a lot of information and answered many questions about Sardinian cuisine and ingredients. We very much appreciated his casual and interactive approach to cooking. Very much our style. Moreover, he is a very interesting and multi-talented individual with a very diverse history. We enjoyed trading stories during the cooking and eating. The one issue we had was with the Cesarine communication system. While it worked initially, our messages to Marco to coordinate our arrival did not get through to him. Cesarine customer support line only had a recording, and it said if any issues we should contact the host directly at the number provided in the confirmation. However, the confirmation did not provide a number or other direct contact information. Luckily, we were able to figure it out and reach him once we got to the building intercom panel. Cesarine never responded to the voicemail we left. So, while we were very impressed with Marco, we were not impressed with the Cesarine support.
An afternoon with Chef Damiano, pasta making and eating!

5.00Damiano and Sylvie treated us like we were longtime friends. He taught use to make pasta filled with potato and cheeses and our group tried to roll and pinch the pasta like his grandmother taught him. While I failed miserably at that task, I enjoyed wine, wonderful food and fellowship with the other guests. I definitely recommend this experience when you visit Sardinia!
