  This was one of our favorite tours while in Greece. Char was great. He was passionate and had great info on Ephesus. It was great to have him lead our tour. The museum was also really cool. Like a 5D movie where were learned about about the city. Very cool! We learned a lot in the short amount of time and even got to go souvenir shopping before we headed back to the port.

  Well co-ordinated, knowledgeable and enlightening tour of Ephesus. During our ‘small group’ tour with “ Char ”we were not only able to learn first hand the incredible history of Ephesus but also many interesting details about current life & culture in turkey. Highly recommend this tour.

  We had an unforgettable experience with our exceptional guide, Cetin, who led us on the most incredible tour of our travels thus far. Our day was filled with breathtaking sights, including the ancient city of Ephesus and the revered House of the Virgin Mary. A delicious, authentic Turkish lunch was the perfect midpoint to our adventure. We were also treated to a fascinating rug-making demonstration, gaining insight into this traditional craft. Our tour concluded with a leisurely shopping excursion at carefully curated stores, showcasing Turkey's finest treasures. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Cetin for sharing his vast knowledge and passion for history, making this tour truly unforgettable. His expertise brought ancient civilizations to life, leaving us with cherished memories.

  We signed up for this tour because the excursions from the cruiseship were already sold out. We are so glad we did. It happened to be only the 2 of us with a chauffeur Mustafa and our great guide Gonca Yucel the whole day. Our greatest concern was to be back in time for the ship departure, and Gonca was very concious of that. Once that was alleviated, we enjoyed the tour. Gonca was very personable and brought history to life, without overwhelming us with too many details. On the way back we stopped at a carpet factory, where we learned about silkworms and how the beautiful carpets are made. Very interesting, and even though they pushed for a sale, we didn't feel overwhelmed or pressured to buy anything. Overall, the best excursion experience on our 11-day trip in Greece!

  Although I had been to Greece before, I had never been to the port of Izmir so did not know what to expect on this tour. Our guide, Yram, and driver met us just outside the cruise terminal as I had been advised. The drive to Ephesus was about 1 hour through beautiful scenery, which Yram described for us. I cannot say enough positive about Yram. She was friendly, knowledgeable and very informative. She answered any questions we had. Once at Ephesus, she guided us through the site imparting much detail. It was a very enjoyable day and would recommend this tour.

  Excellent tour. Abe was a very knowledgeable guide. We moved at a pace that accommodated my 93 year old father -- no rushing. All in all a greatday.
