The Kelpies & The Helix

The castle visit and the river rapids were the highlight of the trip. Our guide Ross was informative, engaging, and friendly. It was clear that Ross’ goal was to ensure that our trip to the Highlands was unforgettable. He was successful. Went on a tour to the Highlands, myself and my family had a great time. There were 5 of us. There was plenty of space in the van, the guide gave us drinks and some Scottish snack(great added bonus). The guide was knowledgeable and friendly would highly recommend

As a solo traveler, I needed and wanted a guide to take care of me - in every way. Nimble. Courteous. Expert-knowledge. Fun. Informative. Friendly. Easy conversation. I experienced that in spades. I cannot give enough accolades to Ross and his team. This trip was fantastic and 100% of the reason was the experience I had with Ross and team.

Had an unforgettable day with Ross, travelling up into the highlands via castles, whiskey and chocolate tastings, off the beaten track side visits, waterfalls and nature walks. Every part of it was easy, from the booking process to communication before the tour and the tour itself. Ross is a such an expert guide (ask him anything; I bet he has the answer!) and above all a super easy guy to get along with. While the highland landscapes spoke for themselves, for me Ross's wonderful company made this tour, and I couldn't give it any less than five stars. The perfect introductory tour for a first visit to Edinburgh. I'd recommend Ross without reservation!
