  This private tour was an eye-opening and essential experience for understanding the complex history and resilience of Medellín. Our guide, Mauricio, was incredible. His knowledge was deeply personal because he was just 10 years old during the peak of the Escobar bombings. Hearing his firsthand perspective provided a level of emotional depth and authenticity that you simply cannot get from a textbook or a standard tour. Walking through Comuna 13 was the absolute highlight of the day. Seeing the vibrant street art and the community's energy firsthand was truly inspiring, and having a private tour allowed us to navigate it all at our own pace. Unfortunately, it rained during our tour and the lines were incredibly long for the cable car ride, so we missed out on that, but Mauricio kept the experience engaging and seamless regardless. If you want to truly understand Medellín's past and its beautiful transformation, I highly recommend booking this tour and asking for Mauricio!

  This tour is great for a more personal tour experience. Mauricio was great and very attentive. Definitely felt like a personal experience and felt very safe. For a deep history of Medellin and this is highly recommended.

  Sofia was very knowledgeable and passionate about history. She was very flexible with us due to travelling with a 1,5yo. Can't thank them enough for their patience and help at all times. We felt very safe and relax the entire trip. Medellin is beautiful same as its people.

  I recently took a Pablo Escobar tour, and it was a very eye-opening experience. The guide shared a lot of history about Medellín and how the city has transformed over the years. It wasn’t just about Escobar himself, but also about the impact his actions had on the people and how the community has worked hard to move forward. Definitely a tour that makes you reflect and see the city from a deeper perspective.

  Mauricio was our tour guide and he did such a great job! The tour hit all of the spots in 4-5 hours! We had time to stop and get local snacks, fresh fruit pops and plenty of water! Mauricio was so informative of all things in Medellin- from Pablo to Comuna 13, he shared personal stories of his time living through the most dangerous time in this city!
