  We really enjoyed this as a family. We live in Hong Kong and with the light pollution never experienced how lovely it was. To see satellites streaking across the night sky was mind blowing. Highly recommend this trip with a highly informed guide

  I wanted to see the stars on a remote island with my fiancé. And it was such a pleasant experience. We did not regret it. We got picked up and brought to the top of a peak point and were able to see a vast sea of stars. It was incredible, I usually take my camera to do Astrophotography but the owner took pictures for us with the stars in the background and it exceeded my expectations how the stars looked at the peak. The photos turned out incredible. 10/10 I would do this again

  Awesome view from the beach. The milky way was incredibly good looking from there. Saito even prepared mosquito spray for us. He also had laser to better show us the constellation he was talking about. Pick up included. All in all great experience. He took dozen of photos and they came out very good.

  Thanks to Nagi Beta who can read the movement of clouds and think about the time of day, I was able to see the starry sky that I had hoped for! How do you know so much about the stars? It was so much fun to explain the star in such a way that we asked the question ‘What is this?’ I had no idea how to pose for a picture, so you gave me some advice. It was enough to satisfy me with the first photo, and all of the photos were lovely and inspiring. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience and wonderful photos!

  Saito was the reason I decided to bring my lady to Ishigaki Island and propose to her there. We ran into a couple nights of tough cloudy weather, but thanks to Saito's flexibility we managed to pull it off the night before we were scheduled to leave Ishigaki. The skies of Ishigaki are truly starry, Kabira Bay is the ideal spot for a photo shoot, and Saito is a great and cool photographer. It's an experience that my fiancée and I will never forget. I plan to come back to Ishigaki in the future to do another photo shoot with my lady and at least a little one. Hopefully Saito is still around doing the photo shoots then, I really appreciate the photos he took and the work he did to make the experience possible!

  

• Starry sky, a unique experience

  We are a family of four visiting Ishigaki from China. We stayed on the island for three nights, and the weather finally became clear the last day. We booked the tour for starry night through Viator, and the schedule was changed due to the poor weather the day before. Saito was our guide again (I wrote an early review for the sightseeing tour), picking us at the hotel around 10:30 pm. He spent some time to find a dark place suitable for photography without blockage of clouds. It was quite amazing looking up the sky! Saito was a professional photographer and took some amazing pictures, which was not possible to do using our cell phones. He also used Google translator to introduce us some interesting facts about the galaxy and stars. I recommend to book this tour if you come to Ishigaki. The tour company won't charge you if the tour fail to take place due to the weather.
