  This was a great tour! Our guide Fernando met us at the train and looked after us so well. We especially liked the view of the whole town from the lookout point. It’s a fascinating town, such a rich and interesting history. Nandi even took us right to our restaurant for lunch. A great tour.

  Booking Destino Toledo was one of the best decisions we made on our entire Spain trip and Javi was an extraordinary guide. What made this tour truly special was how personalized and flexible the experience was — Javi went completely at our pace, allowed us to focus on what mattered most to us, and tailored the tour in real time rather than following a rigid script. We spent meaningful time at the Toledo Cathedral and Javi brought the history to life in a way no guidebook ever could. He explained the remarkable evolution of Toledo — from Muslim to Jewish to Catholic — and connected that history directly to the architecture we were standing in front of. One detail that stayed with us: the cathedral we were visiting incorporated columns salvaged from the synagogue that previously stood on the same site. Those kinds of layered historical insights made Toledo feel alive rather than like a museum visit. Javi's knowledge was deep, his storytelling was engaging, and his patience was exceptional. He never rushed us and even stayed with us after the tour to chat and personally helped us arrange a taxi back to the train station so we wouldn't miss our train. That level of care and personal attention is rare. If you are visiting Toledo, do not go without Destino Toledo. Ask for Javi. You will not regret it. Five stars.

  We went with Natália, very kind and efficient, fluent in the Portuguese language. Tour with the taxi, followed by a long walk through the magical historic center of Toledo, with countless information. I highly recommend.

  Manuel was an excellent guide who was a local that loved Toledo. That makes all the difference as he was knowledgeable, passionate and funny. Highly recommend. The tour operator was also accommodating to our requests which we greatly appreciated.

  We were a party of four and Javi picked us up at our hotel right on time. His communication prior to the tour was spot on. We loved his knowledge of the history and also of other areas in the world. He took his time and explained everything and even stayed and enjoyed lunch with us.   Lidia is a wonderful tour guide and very knowledgeable. As a Toledo native she showed us all the local gems. I highly recommend a tour with her! It was nice being able to have a private group tour for the 4 of us.

  Our guided tour with Valle, was exceptional. She had such a depth of knowledge of Toledo and history, in general. She was extremely flexible in allowing us to choose what to see and adapted the tour and the route to give us the maximum time in each location. Valle was so easy to talk with - she felt like an old friend within minutes of meeting with us. This was one of the best parts of our 2 month tour of Spain and Italy. Highly, highly recommend.
