What To Expect

Temple of the Emerald Buddha

寺院の戒壇内には、タイで最も重要な仏像であるエメラルド仏像が安置されています。エメラルド仏像はエメラルドから鋳造されたのではなく、高品質の緑色の翡翠から鋳造されました。 1432年に仏像を発見しました。タイに来たなら、幸運を祈りに行ってください。

The Grand Palace

王宮は、ラーマ 1 世が王位に就いて新しい王朝を設立した 1782 年のバンコク建国と同時に建設されました。王宮はかつて州の宮殿であったため、非常に重要です。絶対王政の統治制度において、王の住居と国の行政の中心地の両方として使用されました。現在、この宮殿は儀式のみに使用されています。この宮殿の建築計画は、アユタヤのかつての首都（約 600 年前）の王宮と細部に至るまでほぼ同一でした。これは国王がかつての都市の栄光を再現したいと考えたためです。つまり、最初は完全に伝統的なタイ様式で建てられました。しかし、19 世紀初頭にラマ 3 世によって導入された中国の要素や、19 世紀後半にラマ 5 世によって導入された西洋の建築様式など、さまざまな時代に他国からの影響がタイの建築に影響を及ぼしています。。

I booked this tour thinking it would mostly be a quick temple visit, but it ended up being much more meaningful. Poppy explained Thai culture, the Emerald Buddha, and the temple details in a very natural way. I liked that she gave us time to look around and enjoy the places. The Reclining Buddha Temple was my favorite part of the day. Beautiful, peaceful, and very memorable.

This tour was a great way to see Bangkok’s famous sights without feeling lost. Kay was cheerful and knew the best photo spots, especially around the Grand Palace and the Temple of Dawn. She shared just enough history to help us understand what we were seeing. Hot day, beautiful temples, lots of photos, and a guide with good energy.

We had such a lovely day visiting the Grand Palace and the main temples in Bangkok. Our guide, Alex, explained everything in a simple and interesting way, so it never felt like a boring history class. The Grand Palace was beautiful, but the Temple of the Reclining Buddha was the one that really surprised me. It was much bigger than I imagined. Alex was friendly, patient, and very easy to spend the day with.

Our guide, Som (Ms Orange) was AMAZING and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour! She was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. She was flexible when we wanted to add stops & she’s an excellent photographer!😌 We had a great time!

It was an amazing day. Wat Arun is so beautiful. Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho is so cool. And the Royal Palace and Temple are unbelievable. The buildings are so colorful and the detail is so intricate. Don’t miss green Buddha. Highly recommend the private tour. Our guide, Som, is very knowledgeable and does a great job telling the history of Thailand as we toured the sites. It was our second day with her and driver Mr One. Ask for them…they are both great. Also, be sure to get dropped at the canal for boat ride to see the Big Buddha.

Very good experience, the communication was excellent and the private car was lovely and a/c very welcome. Alexis our guide was fantastic and explained so much about each place we visited, got the best places for photos and where to stand, and took lots of photos of us.

Tip , the tour guide was excellent - I was traveling with my older parents ( in their 70's and 80's ) who had some minor mobility issues and she was excellent at coordinating their movements and making sure we got to see all the sites while also providing adequate rest for my parents. Noc, the tour operator was very prompt in her communications with me. The car/Van provided was first rate and extremely comfortable. Thank you for an excellent private tour.

This tour was outstanding. Our guide, Som, was very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. She was welcoming and supportive of our wish to learn as much as possible. At every stop her explanations gave us a strong understanding of the history, reverence, and beauty of each site. If you are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced tour guide, I highly recommend.

Ken provided a masterclass in Thai history today. His explanation of the Emerald Buddha origins was the highlight of the trip. He is a sophisticated communicator who knows how to keep his audience engaged.
