  MORE THAN A STARGAZING TOUR!! I booked this experience expecting to learn about stars. Instead, I left with something much harder to describe. The night sky over Rapa Nui is breathtaking on its own, but what made this experience special was Tokerau. His passion, knowledge, and storytelling transformed the sky from a collection of distant lights into something deeply human. Every constellation seemed connected to a story, every story connected to a people, and every people connected to the ocean that surrounds this remarkable island. There is a quote I love: “That is Polaris, the North Star. That is how sailors used to find their way home. When I look at you, that’s what I see. I see my way home.” Although this wasn’t part of the tour, it perfectly captures how I felt afterward. For thousands of years, people have looked to the stars for guidance. This experience reminded me that the sky is more than astronomy—it is memory, navigation, connection, and belonging. If you’re visiting Rapa Nui, don’t think of this as simply a stargazing tour. It’s an opportunity to experience the island through a completely different lens and reconnect with something much bigger than yourself. Last but not least, thank you, Tokerau.   Awesome guide, a very kind person with a huge knowledge of the theme. Furhtermore, speaks English and Spanish, what makes easier for tourists. The tour is a show itself, a great event to do at night, specially because there are few options at night at the island.

  I had the privilege of exploring Rapa Nui with our guide, and it was unforgettable! From the moment we started, Tokerau’s deep knowledge of the island’s history, Moai, and culture kept us captivated. He went out of their way to make sure we felt connected to this magical place, and his passion shone through every story. He even helped us find some hidden spots!
