• Long car rides on bumpy roads.

  The ride to pick up the bikes took about 45 minutes down a very bumpy road. We were told we were getting a free massage. The bikes are mountain cruisers and worked very well. We travel on the bumpy road to a small village by the water side. Nothing great to see. After about 30 minutes we returned on the same road. The food tasting was excellent. Be aware it is mostly fried food. I especially liked the fresh fried conch. The ride to the beach was another 45 minutes. The back is maybe 10 feet wide and was filled with seaweed. We rented chairs for $5 each for an hour before returning to the ship. Restrooms could be found at lunch but not on the beach. Our guide was very nice and friendly. He did the best he could explaining things about the island. He spoke English very well.

  We had a really great day on Roatan. We were picked up on time by our guide Licar Dilpert and taken by car to the starting point of our e-bike tour. The bikes were in good condition and well suited for the tour. We did a 2 hour tour through part of Roatan, we saw a lot and our guide Licar showed us a lot and explained it. We were able to stop at many places for photos or breaks. Afterwards we had delicious local food. Then we went to the beach. The beach was too crowded for our taste , no problem for Licar who then drove us to other beautiful sightseeing points before heading back to the port. The island is beautiful and through the tour we were able to gain a good insight of country and people. Thanks again to our guide Licar who was very friendly , patient and creative.

  Get to know your bike before leaving the Property. One bike went into the ditch before we even got started. The food aspect of the tour was ok. Happy served chicken and shrimp finger food and an empinada. The dining facility is where you get the bikes...so not really a food tour. Cedric was amazing. He allowed a choice of paths 1 of 2. We opted for the less traveled. It rained the night before so the road was a bit muddy. It was still fun.

• Mega day, Mega Guide Kembron and another stopover at the zoo, super local lunch.
