  Booked 3 stop snorkeling with Explore Roatan. Cynthia was our personal guide and she was absolutely amazing. Best service, great personal attention, friendly - top tier guide. Highly recommend. A few thoughts.... Adding the sloth experience is worth it. Doesn't eat into the day at all. Cost is decent for a quick tour. Got a personal group walk through. Good experience overall. Getting to the guide out of the port is awful, this is on the port, all tour guides are fighting to find groups. Know who you're looking for and the logo of the company in advance. Once we were with Cynthia, easy breezy. Paying for the upgrading personal transportation is 100% worth it. Would never do it any other way. Alfredo on the pontoon snorkel boat was incredible. This guy knows what he's doing. Had ceviche and fruit as a snack which was nice. Felt very safe and looked after with a child and senior on board. And this man can find the sea life! Highly recommend. Don't forget to sunscreen the back of your legs.

  I did the catamaran tour that left in the afternoon and concluded at sunset. It was a lovely experience. We stopped for snorkeling in the West End area and sailed to Anthony’s key. The communication before and after booking, the tour was excellent. They answered all my questions and delivered on every promise. My driver was also exceptional. I was hungry after my tour so he made sure I ate and got back to my hotel safe which wasn’t his responsibility, but it was greatly appreciated.

  The entire experience with Explore Roatan was exceptional; from the pre booking inquiring stage to booking and then the experience was first class. We booked a private snorkel tour. We arrived to Coxen Hole on MSC cruise ship. The day of our tour the water was rough and rainy. So we could not do the tour we planned, due to the weather. Dorian is a solution seekeer and organized a snorkel trip on the lee side of the island. The weather was not great, however we found calm waters to see the coral and fish. The lunch was a fabulous cevinchi! On the way back to the Cruise ship, he stopped at a local shopping spot so we could buy some local chocolate and gifts. I highly recommend Explore Roatan! They know how to give the best to their guests.

  I booked a private excursion for my family of 4 with Explore Roatan tours instead of booking through the cruise ship. We did a beach break and horseback riding excursion. It was fabulous! Keisha was our wonderful tour“babysitter”/translator and she drove us all over and told us about the culture of Roatan. We were the first ones on the beach in West Bay and the water was wonderful! She stayed nearby if we needed anything. The beach was amazing, but watch out for the vendors who walk the beach all day! They are a bit aggressive, but just trying to make money. A simple “no thank you, maybe later” seemed to keep them at bay for a bit. My husband ended up buying a quick 60 minute snorkel trip from one of the vendors and was pleasantly surprised! Roatan has the second best snorkeling in the world!! He saw hundreds of fish and beautiful coral reefs. After a couple of hours at the beach, we did the horseback riding tour. We got to see some beautiful views of Roatan and culture! I was a little apprehensive about my 8 year old on a horse alone. But our guide put my mind at ease and had his horse on a guide rope the whole time. We rode on a back road to a beach and on the way back through the ocean! We had such a great time! Keisha got us back to our port with plenty of time to spare. We were so sad we had such a quick day as our ship left at 2:30. Even Keisha said usually the cruise ships are in port until later on in the day. I would recommend using Explore Roatan for a private tour!   We booked a pontoon snorkel and beach break through Explore Roatan. It was an amazing experience. I can't remember the boat operator's name but he was great and lured the fish in to swarm around us. Kisha, our private driver, was awesome and spent plenty of time letting us hang out, showed us around, and stopped to let us eat lunch. 10/10 for Explore Roatan.
